The light wooden structure built at the Martyrs stadium to serve as a podium during the meeting on Thursday, February 02, 2023 between Pope Francis and Congolese youth collapsed during the rain which fell on the night of Sunday to Monday January 30.

The established program provides for the arrival of Pope Francis arrives in Kinshasa on Tuesday, January 31 for a stay of four days.

According to the organizing committee, everything is ready to welcome the sovereign pontiff.

The government has also decreed the half-day of Wednesday, February 1, to allow the faithful to go to religious services, in particular the papal mass scheduled at Ndolo airport.

Let's put things into perspective...here is a direct copy from the CXO quarterly report from a few days ago

• A shipment of 15,000dmt of DSO, with an average grade of
  1.4% Li2O sold for US$951/dmtvia a tender using a digital
  exchange platform.

Using the back of an envelope, if we simply put a lowball esimate on the value of say 1mil tonnes of DSO at say USD500(AUD700)per tonne given lower grade etc and a cost of mining and transport of say AUD250 per tonne, then we get AUD450m of net cash flow (LET'S SAY THAT AGAIN - $450M!!!!!!)....for only 1 million tonnes of our resource.

What is our current market capitalisation? Around $150m. Come on(?), to allow our company to be taken over at these prices would be crazy! I've been buying and will not be selling anywhere near current market valuation. TLEA knows the value, and surely so does MIN and various other potential suitors. Hold tight and consider buying if you can see the value that I can see.

The ESS deal is pure horse crap...........management there has always been horse crap too.

Would love to do a bit of DSO with AVZ too.......

No doubt if everything goes positive with AVZ..............longer term $10 easy.

PLS.........$4.80, will probably be $10 EOY

AVZ needs the ML and a couple of years production before it gets anywhere near $10.

So thats another 4/5 years away..........assuming we eventually get the green light this year.

If you superimpose the CXO deal for 1.4% Li2O @ US$ 951 to 1.65% Li2O, my old trusty HP calculator says ~US$1150....

BTW The Poster (dynofish) continues on the ESS forum and states that LTR is now planning to sell DSO for around $1bn in the next year and a half which product was designated as waste!

Agreed. Isn't it funny that throughout the ENTIRE suspension process, people have been claiming "two weeks is a great sign" or "one month is a great sign" or "strategically aligning with XYZ" - and every single one of them has been wrong.

I understand human nature's need for 'certainty' but we're dealing with a BOD that has got absolutely no clue what is happening or when something is going to happen so save yourself a whole lot of grey hair and gloss over the news and move on..

Felix reminds me of Rudd - all show for the cameras and no substance.. I'm more worried about this than the ML.

When something big is happening you'll sense or see it, and won't miss out..

The Democratic Republic of Congo has just acquired a new presidential plane, a Boeing Business Jet 767 registered T7 – DRC.

The BBJ is a range of airliners fitted out for secure private use.

Fitted out, the plane includes bedrooms, bathrooms, dining or meeting rooms and a large lounge.

It is therefore a worthy plane for the travels of the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo around the world.

It should be noted that the presidential plane purchased under the regime of Joseph Kabila is no longer in circulation today.

The DRC never ceases to amaze me. They send one of their most corrupt (and that's a big call) to meet & greet the Pope??

Then again the Catholic church is one of the richest & most fucked up entities on Earth.

We have a few peeps cleaning up on the DSO scene, CXO 1.4% Li2O @ US$ 951

So why don't we too, we could dig up all that mica at CDL and ship it off having a better grade and so therefore price than CXO (which will be helpful as the port is not a 45km drive like CXO).

Once we have the ML for the entire tenement, we could make sure we have $$ coming in. What a great slap in the face to the cockheads who tried to steal it from us. While we are steaming ahead building the mine @ Roche Dure we have self funded drill rigs turning CDL into swiss cheese with a view to a resource to then enter into a JV, also the front end we are digging up DSO an flogging it off.

The extra $$ is a buffer and also a way to pay off debt faster, so the whole time we are building we are also drilling and making $$ from DSO

Initially there is a transport bottleneck for DSO material, however it is an option to generate cash while waiting for the processing plant to be build.

Processing the material is a DRC requirement, however due to the size of the orebody, one would say the DRC Government can see merit to start generating cash asap.
