So, we're 10 months in and allegedly not allowed to pour shit on anyone in the DRC 'process'.
@Spikerama How about we have a new double-barrel counter, that being the executive salaries being paid by shareholders whilst in suspension? Add another line item being the cold hard cash outlaid by said executives in acquiring their shares..... Then add an inverse percentage of cash outlaid against the salaries.....
Putting it to the pack for a vote..

Oh man... it's a really good idea and I may just do it but it took me a long time to figure out those other ones. (I think we need to keep posting those too cos we seem to have lost momentum in the old twitter space.)
I do have something pretty cool I'm working on about Mupande. And have a lot of drafts for the next crate of grenades to roll into the room.
It just takes time to make them impactful enough that people stop and read and then share.

The Court of Auditors promises to hunt down predators of public finances
The president of the Court of Auditors, Jimmy Munganga, announced this Thursday, March 9, the hunt for predators of public finances.
It also promises to fight against corruption whose perpetrators are recruited among ministers, public officials and sometimes shine in the award of public contracts without respecting the rules.
They expose themselves to sanctions when the time comes.
He said it on the occasion of the judicial return of the Court of Auditors to the People's Palace in the presence of the President of the Republic, the ministers who are members of the government, the deputies and senators and all the heads of the constituted bodies of the country. .
Jimmy Munganga focused his speech on the role of the Court in repressing mismanagement.
Detecting the mismanagement, the first president of the Court deplores the delay in the transmission of certain reports, the finance law voted and that on the rendering of accounts to the Court.
“These faults and so many others have been erected into management mode,” he said.
As regards the Court's annual report, it highlights the seriousness of the mismanagement.
It contains recommendations proposing certain corrections, informs the public about the management of public finances.
A second ceremony concerned the presentation to the Head of State, the two Presidents of Parliament and the Prime Minister of the annual report of the Court's activities for the 2020-2021 financial years.
EU and DRC announce deal on rare minerals like copper and cobalt
The European Union and the Democratic Republic of Congo have committed to launch negotiations for a partnership on the exploitation of rare and strategic minerals, including copper and cobalt.
A so-called win-win memorandum of understanding and a roadmap will be announced in the coming months around cooperation and investment projects in a sector dominated in the DRC by China.
The EU is counting on this partnership to accelerate its ecological transition.
In order to achieve the objective of carbon neutrality in 2050, the EU has embarked on a so-called historic shift in its industrial production and wants to strengthen its supply policy for rare and strategic minerals.
The other challenge is to reduce its dependence on certain countries like China, where these minerals are currently processed, explain EU sources.
The challenge is also significant for the DRC, which aims to develop a local value chain and a market around the battery, electric vehicle and renewable energy industry.
A position that corresponds to the EU's offer, according to Jutta Urpilainen, European Commissioner for International Partnerships:
“We want to create value in the DRC, local added value.
Not just exporting your raw materials to Finland, Europe and then refining them in Europe.
According to her, the approach will be different from that proposed by other partners of the DRC, such as China not to mention:
“We don't want to create dependency, nor do we want neocolonialism.
We really want to create local value and we want to create a win-win partnership.
According to the EU ambassador posted in Kinshasa, the advantage for the DRC is also to benefit from possible support for the production of green energy for its industries.

Yes why did we stop? A rest for a week because of what?Oh man... it's a really good idea and I may just do it but it took me a long time to figure out those other ones. (I think we need to keep posting those too cos we seem to have lost momentum in the old twitter space.)

It has been suggested that Felix has been fed misinformation that AVZ were hoping to flip the project which is in part where some of his hesitancy has come from.
What would it matter to him (and by extension the benefit toward the people of the DRC) if this is what happened? Drilling/Testing/DFS complete. Why would it matter who came and mined it from that point onward? You might say he may want someone without a human rights record to mine the project, yet Zijin are being entertained?
Curious on others thoughts.

Mate, early days yet.
I once wrote to Bill Shorten when he was Minister for Supperannuation. At the time Wayne Swan was Treasurer (Haha, what was I thinking). It took a year for Minister Shorten to respond.
Give it a few more weeks. If you decide to send a follow-up email, request that Minister Wong respond, rather than her department. In that way she will acquaint herself with the issue. If her department responds, it is very unlikely that Minister Wong will read anything about it.

Seems like another Australian Lithium player in Africa is under short attack
This time it's Atlantic Lithium - ASX ticker "A11" the Lithium hopeful in Ghana that has agreements in place with Piedmont
Piedmont is actually the ulitmate entity subject to the short attack but the report published by short fund Blue Orca raises allegations about Atlantic Lithium which could potentially impact the SP of Piedemont
The management of Atlantic has officially stated it considers the report to be 'factually untrue"
Atlantic (through subsidiaries) has a current application for a mining license lodged with Ghana's Minerals Commission in relation to the company's Ewoyaa Lithium Project
Any of this sound familiar to AVZ shareholders????
I had "A11" on my lithium radar around October last year when it was 60c and it subsequently moved to 90c within a very short timeframe.
Some might recall I posted on this company on the thread below
At the time I chose not to purchase A11 (or any mining/lithium interests in Africa) due to my experience with AVZ
I did some research though into Ghana and levels of corruption and political stability and it did seem somewhat "better" than the climate in the DRC
Anyway long story short Atlantic's and Piedemont's share prices have both suffered as a direct result of the short report/attack....particularly Atlantics which has now dropped below it's issue price
Blue Orca appears to be a little more transparent than those low-lifes at Boatman Capital but the methodology is exactly the same
Hard enough researching and selecting the right investments without these types of pricks publishing whatever they want and manipulating the market
