Only public companies and large private companies are required to post annual reports.
Some would argue AVZ does not meet the ASIC definition of a "Large Private Company"

Technically they currently don't have an asset as the DRC says they don't own it, so until It's acknowledged on a DRC register the asset holdings is zero..... I guess.

Unless you count the court cases as assets (which Locke has deemed them to be, but it's kinda grey).

So is AVZ breaching ASIC rules? Debatable.

Litigation funds are high risk funders. High risk funders undertake due diligence and chose to ‘deal or no deal’ based on the probably of winning the case in court & in return they’ll get their cash back plus a lot more . Hence why their returns run on multipliers

If we don’t win we don’t have an asset and they also lose their cash …

Since 2024 is rapidly coming to a close, I took the opportunity today to once again email the hon. Penny Wong MP, Minister for Foreign Affairs about the plight of AVZ Minerals and what (if anything) the Australian government is doing to assist and support it in its fight against corrupt DRC officials and the equally corrupt Zijin Mining.

I originally wrote in 2023, but have not received a response.
