As we are aware, Australia's Future Fund holds 16,787,107 shares in AVZ Minerals within its portfolio of investments. This investment represents 0.01% of its portfolio, and is valued at approx $AU13 million (30 June 2024). This is taxpayers' money.

The Minister for Finance and the Treasurer have joint portfolio responsibility for this fund.

I have contacted both ministers about their knowledge of the web of corruption and illegalities facing one of the Future Fund's holdings in the Democratic Republic of Corruption (DRC), and what (if any) steps have been taken to protect the Australian taxpayer from a total wipe-out of their investment.

Australia will probably have a federal election in early 2025, so now is a good time to ask these questions.

Shareholders have spoke through votes at at both last years and this years AGMs ; we don’t want you pricks anywhere near the company. Huljich , Klaus & Cong fucked shareholders over at Armani gold ; so what do you reckon people are thinking here ?

Klaus , Hulijich and Cong , they’ve all served on Amani Gold's board and Armani golds shareholders got shafted when Amani Gold sold its interest in its main project , the Giro gold deposit to a company and guess what , that companies main shareholder was Simon Cong.

You guys seem to think you’re so clever ; banging away at the company trying to take it down. yourself and East Wood creating multi nicks on social droning on with the same shit .

There’s a lot of shareholders here with a lot on the line , you guys fucking around where you aren’t wanted for your own personal gain knowing the consequences for these shareholders and their families is pretty fucked up .

The likes of Carrick and Hulijich are already wealthy individuals; yourself and East Wood are running on some sort of vendetta with NF ; where you were treated well but were incompetent in any case and got the huff you got the boot and rightly so . Eastwood … well , he lost his ass trying to be super clever in the Russian roulette / penny end of the market and blames everyone else , because in his own head he’s never wrong

Absolute dog act by the lot of you guys ; dangerous immoral game you play imo and I hope karma finds you all

Meanwhile, more than 21,000 shareholders are caught in the crossfire, uncertain if they’ll ever see their investments again. This is the kind of blow no investor deserves.

While AVZ management remains committed to a resolution and maintains they’re still fighting for their shareholders, numerous questions remain:

Questions to be asked

1. Can AVZ expect to be awarded a mining licence in the near future?
2. How will the ongoing legal proceedings impact AVZ’s relationship with the DRC government?
3. Would a full sale of the Manono project be in shareholders’ best interest?
4. Will AVZ relist?
5. Will the fines imposed by international courts be paid by Cominiere?
6. Will a shareholder class action against AVZ proceed?

The AVZ saga underscores the importance of due diligence and understanding the risks involved in mining investments, especially in less stable jurisdictions. For the many thousands of AVZ shareholders, this situation is undoubtedly distressing. It's important to remember that behind every investment are real people, and their financial well-being should always be a priority.

Arbitration isn’t a quick process, and AVZ and their shareholders are quickly finding out that what many thought would be a quick process could indeed take years. With proceedings against the DRC government, Cominière, Jin Cheng and Fat Tail, it seems that everything now rests in the hands of the judges.

The DRC Government made a statement recently .They want all matters between the DRC Government and AVZ Minerals concerning the Manono Project to be sorted out via the International Courts/ The ICSID final Verdict . AVZ Minerals and it's Share Holder's fully support the DRC Governments wishes to resolve these matters via International Arbitration in the absence of a Negotiated Outcome .

This was discussed at the last AGM I just updated myself...sorry i haven't shared it with others
12/ Chance of favourable relations with DRC

Question 7 – What are the chances of favourable relations with DRC / positive outcome with DRC now that we have leverage of USD 15 million funding too

Nigel – Only key players in DRC have final say.
Some key players have been misled and told that AVZ is going to roll over which has not happened.
Now we have funding
There is hearsay that President has another problem – If they support us, then China/Jincheng could take out arbitration against DRC, as they have done with some other country

14/ ICSID - shortfall in fees payment

Nigel – It is costly and there have been 2 trips this year. Hopefully that will change
