BRN Discussion Ongoing

So Keith was adapting Akida for C++ systems:

"Created a C++ library for pre and post processing of different data types to be used in Akida machine learning demos. Converted Brainchip’s PyTorch TENN state space model for their LLM RAG demo from Python to C++."

At first, I thought the obvious target was Prophesee:
https://docs.prophesee.ai/stable/get_started/get_started_cpp.html

"In this Section, we will create a minimal sample to get started with Metavision SDK C++ API. The goal of this sample is to introduce in the simplest possible way some basic concepts of Metavision SDK and create a first running example."

But C++ is a very popular language, and LLM RAG isn't really of interese to Prophesee applications, so this could open additional opportunities.

2) State-Space Models: A paradigm-shifting metaphor for brain processing, capturing the essences of brain-like processing in a predictable engineering framework. This approach has the potential to redefine how we understand and replicate brain-like intelligence. This represents the next generation of BrainChip products.

At Nuremberg I will be carrying under my arm the what I believe is our most valuable intellectual property to date: an extreme-edge Large Language Model (LLM) that redefines the boundaries of AI deployment. You will be able to see the FPGA embodiment at EW at our booth
."

The EW demo of NLP (LLM+RAG?) that I saw did not go into much detail other than the Akida/TENNs ASIC would be 10 times faster than the FPGA,.

Looking forward to the Akida 2/TENNs ASIC.
Cheers. So the language is going to be important to end use obviously and you are saying the C++ may open additional avenues.

Phone processors or home appliaces use what language primarily...you know?

Only cause the LLM demo this guy appeared to have helped with was liked by him on his LinkedIn and was the one which had the fridge etc on the screen.

Volkswagen decided to sell their in-house currywurst in supermarkets… 😂 and some people here are complaining about BrainChip’s t-shirt era in the beginning…

That move by crisis-hit German carmaker VW is far from being an act of desperation, though, like some readers might infer from the above comment by our forum’s top Germany-bashing poster: While VW’s car sales have been declining, its signature sausage is in fact wildly popular, sold internationally and even has its own Volkswagen Original Part number - 199 398 500 A.

The FAZ title is somewhat misleading, though, as the iconic sausage as such is already being sold in select supermarkets as well as online - the soon-to-be-launched novelty is going to be a ready-to-eat-once-heated version, cut up and slathered in VW’s secret recipe sauce (a special ketchup produced exclusively for VW by Develey and listed as Volkswagen Originalteil 199 398 500 B.)

VW Currywurst is cult .... Whenever we went to the VW plant in Wolfsburg to pick up a new car, it was always a must to go to the VW restaurant to eat a currywurst or two. .... 30 / 40 years ago until today

move over VW sausage, I have more exciting news just came in! -

👉 Next-gen chips (Intel Loihi 2, BrainChip Akida) show 175x energy efficiency gains
👉 Real-world traction: Mercedes-Benz & BrainChip are moving from R&D to commercial deployment
👉 Scalability: Neuromorphic chips make previously cost-prohibitive AI applications viable

just came in 31minutes ago!

Let me see if i can add the link properly this time?

🤞

Hi MD,

Let's hope this is happening now. He has put a 3 - 5 year timeline on it, but the wording "is moving" suggests a shorter timeframe. Where does his info come from?

Hey MD, this is nothing to get excited about..

He's just stating what we already know, with no new information.

He doesn't seem to have "any" connection with Mercedes Benz..

Fascinatingly Intuitive.
Good Morning Chippers,

Would love to see the Europeans start taking a significant % holding in our shares , Instotutional and or individual Sovereign Funds .

Would certainly make the Americans wake up to our companys true value, and potentialy expediate deals we have in the pipeline.

European Investment Bank seem to be investing in our sphere , and at one point Norges Bank ( from memory) had a small holding in us.

Trump , having recently put the fear of God through Europe, may help expediate such an investment in us ,
Can't rely on US for the next 4 years.

Regards,
Esq.

AKIDA is all about anything is possible.
Expect the unexpected.
Don't fall off your perch if Tata Motors roll AKIDA off the commercial production line before Mercedes.
Tata is one of the World's most progressive companies.
Tata, particularly Tata Motors and Tata Technologies, are undergoing emphasis and investment in 'softwareization'.
You need Hardware to run software and Tata has openly declared AKIDA technology as superior.
They have publicity declared us for use in their Health and Industrial but it will not end there.
They own the high end Jaquar and Range Rover. Also have Daewoo in their stable.
If they do not beat Merc they will not be far behind.

Morning Manny100 ,

Softweareisation , sounds like some kind of foreign sausage.

Reckon BrainChip should take out an international patent , wack a part number on it & start selling them at our trade shows.

😃.

From the Tata Exsli 2023-24 Integrated Annual Report - see page 6:
"Partnership with BrainChip for driving Akida technology into medical devices and industrial applications leveraging its superior AI performance on the edge"
Confirmation its BRN.
My bold above. Its worth shouting out that Tata state openly that AKIDA Tecnology is SUPERIOR.
TATA had their patent for gesture recognition approved on 14/12/24.
The Tata and BRN partnership was news released on 28/8/2023.
Its been around 5 years plus for Tata developing products containing AKIDA. Its likely that we will see news in the near future.
Health page 69 of report:
" Over last few years, Tata Elxsi has developed strong capabilities in medical device design and engineering, digital health engineering, medical device regulatory compliance and pharmaceutical & biotechnology compliance."
Conformation they are not far off.
Notice that Tata do not confine themselves to AKIDA 1000, OR 1500 etc, they refer to " AKIDA Technology". They are a huge corporation.
P66 " Spending on ER&D is rising as a result of trends such as the need to improve
traditional products and services by integrating them with digital technologies. These raise awareness of sustainability issues and the need to reduce carbon emissions, leverage artificial intelligence to improve service orientation. Automotive, Software, and Healthcare & Medical Devices are expected to be top three ER&D spend contributors"
A lot to look forward to with Tata.

It is the last sentence that interests me for BRN and their model opportunities

Intel (INTC.O), opens new tab reported an annual loss of $19 billion in 2024, its first since 1986.
In the near term, Tan aims to improve performance at its manufacturing arm, Intel Foundry, which makes chips for other design companies such as Microsoft (MSFT.O), opens new tab and Amazon (AMZN.O), opens new tab, by aggressively wooing new customers, according to the people.
It will also restart plans to produce chips that power AI servers and look to areas beyond servers in several areas such as software, robotics and AI foundation models.
