Presenter here claiming that in last week Kabila has disappeared from Goma, likely sought asylum elsewhere after visit from US officials arriving via chopper.

Also Kagame appears to be dogging the peace signing by chucking a sickie, also hasn't been seen lol. So US now decreed that peace agreement to be signed by respective foreign ministers to ensue the deal closes by July.

Any chance we can get back to talking about AVZ ?
Currently ( apparently) the experts from DRC and Rawanda are in Washington discussing the draft peace agreement with the aim of said agreement being signed sometime this coming week ( 15 th and on ).
Hard to see how this is going to get done but i do remain hopeful. Anyone have any news re the progression of the current negotiations ?

This poster has been systematically deleting posts and threads for weeks. Some posters will consider this off topic but it is a clear threat to this entire site. @zeeb0t is asleep at the wheel & no longer moderating any posts.
This "person" has multiple user accounts and has made threats/doxxed other users on TSE.

I hope the areshole gets prosecuted !

I thought we saw Rwanda troops withdrawing last week? That would mean Rwanda are stalling for sweeteners in the deal.

This isn't based on any intel, just my opinion.

But I don't believe the Kobald deal is dependent on Rwanda signing a peace deal.
Despite what August reports on X, and respect to him, but I disagree.

I think the US have contingencies for this not happening, I was massively skeptical from the start that these 2 nations who hate each other to death more than anything else, would sign a peace agreement in 30 days.
Now that I think about it, that short time frame was probably done because the US didn't think they would even if they gave it 5 years, so in order not to waste time, at least they can say they gave them every opportunity.

The DRC just want Rwanda out, and if the reports are true, the troops are leaving now.
The US just need to help get Rwanda out, and I believe that is the real requirements for the DRC to agree to the Kobald deal.
I think the USA are going to get this minerals deal done no matter what these retarded nations ruled by babies do, they're determined and are moving fast.

Again this is just my musings on the topic.
