AKIDA has on chip learning capabilities which at this stage Innatera does not.
That is a huge advantage especially with health and DOD.
Exactly, that has always been a huge go to market advantage that Peter and to a lesser extent Anil mastered...2008 Peters Patent filed in the US was the real first step towards our end goal, that secret sauce remains digitally secure forever, unless of course a real bid surfaces in the coming 24 months, in my opinion of course.

Love Colonel Schultz 😂 😂

“Meanwhile,BrainChip (ASX: BRN)is making significant commercial strides with itsAkida Pulsar, touted as the world's first mass-market neuromorphic microcontroller for sensor edge applications, boasting 500 times lower energy consumption and 100 times latency reduction compared to conventional AI cores.”

Is this the first reveal of the updated version of AKIDA Pico Brainchip has been working on to sideline SynSense and Innatera???

giphy-2213996935.gif

The author idiot of the article mixed up Akida with Pulsar from Innatera. Actually no "product" from BrainChip was mentioned with some data, not even Pico. The desciption applies for the Pulsar.

Possible sideeffect: Some people try to get in touch with BrainChip to talk about the Pulsar and the stated "500 times lower energy consumption and 100 times latency reduction" ... but get away with an Akida Developer Licence

Not related to BRN but very interesting about current LLMs..
Got wind of this story a few days ago, but didn't really take much notice..

This clip is well done though and even entertaining..

The Big Company's strategies, to keep things under control, near the end of the clip, made my jaw drop..

Guys …I have the feeling we invested in the wrong company called Brainchip ! 😂😂😂😂

“BrainChip launched the Akida Pulsar, the world's first mass-market neuromorphic microcontroller specifically designed for sensor edge applications. This chip delivers 500× lower energy consumption and 100× latency reduction compared to conventional AI cores, marking a shift from research prototypes to production-ready hardware”

“BrainChip secured $35 million in Series B funding and expanded their ecosystem through partnerships with Andes Technology for RISC-V integration and Edge Impulse for ML toolchain integration. Their Akida processor now ships in M.2 form factors and embedded modules, moving beyond development boards to production systems.”

I probably missed this, but when did Samsung invest in BRN?

Series A/B are VC capital raisings.

Back in 2020 Samsung started experimenting with an idea which seems to be a creepy extension of the failed Rain AI spaghetti bowl self-organizing nanowires.

US2022147805A1 METHOD AND APPARATUS WITH ELECTRONIC MEMORY COPYING OF A NATURAL NEURAL NETWORK 20201111 Inventor: Mehendri Solon

1759565881473.png

an apparatus and method mapping a natural neural network into an electronic neural network device of an electronic device. The method includes constructing a neural network map of a natural neural network based on membrane potentials of a plurality of biological neurons of the natural neural network, where the membrane potentials correspond to at least two different respective forms of membrane potentials, and mapping the neural network map to the electronic neural network device. The constructing of the neural network map and the mapping of the neural network map implement learning of the electronic neural network device. The method may further includes obtaining an input or stimuli, activating the learned electronic neural network device, provided the obtained input or stimuli, to perform neural network operations, and generating a neural network result for the obtained input or stimuli based on a result of the activated learned electronic neural device.

Hi all,

Looking to use the 1000 eyes of the forum to help dig deeper into some product.

Was looking through the SBIR award page and saw "Cyber Compliant High Throughput Router for Contested Space Environments".
Found that the company is using some neuromorphic space processor and has a product just recently released in Sept 2025, The Isidore Quantum.

The thing that i found puzzling is that the product apparently uses Neuromorphic processor according the write up by the CEO, Forwardedge.ai
which also looks similar to ANT61 beacon design.

Any clue to which space grade neuromorphic processor that they might be using that is commercially available and has a space heritage? Just seems similar to what Quantum Ventura was doing.
