BRN Discussion Ongoing

Hi 7,

Not sure if your post was directed at me, but if it was, I think you may have formed a completely incorrect impression of my intent.

I wasn’t trying to pour petrol on the fire, I was simply agreeing with your own observation that Sean’s tone sounded shaky. The use of humour (including a light-hearted image from a TV comedy show) was to underline that point, not to distort it. For what it’s worth, I tend to use humour as a way of deflecting stress when things get a bit rough. I wasn't attempting to trivialise issues. I'm sorry if you felt I was doing that.

I’ve been a long-term and consistent supporter of BrainChip for many, many years. I’m a genuine investor and have personally met at least 20 other shareholders, quite a few who post here on this forum, through various AGMs and other events. My views come from sustained involvement, which is reflected in my roughly 4,300 forum posts, the overwhelming majority of which have been very positive and extremely supportive.

Having said that, I beleive shareholders are entitled to speak plainly when things are clearly not going well. I think raising legitimate concerns about performance, communication, or commercial traction is a rational response to the current share price and the company’s progress (or lack thereof) .

I don't beleive trying to shut down reasonable criticism does anything to strengthen discussion at a mature level. Instead, it avoids the substance of the issues, which we should all feel comfortable expressing given that we are, collectively, part-owners of the business.
Fair criticism is off course something any investor should acknowledge and take into account when you take a hard look into your BRN portfolio. Sell/Buy, reduce or increase your position.

I just pisses me off that a certain poster have been posting about the shitty SP for the last month or so, we bloody well know, so why whinging about it here every day? How does that help anyone? This poster will fit right in over at the craxxer.

I though Sean sounded just fine, as he normally does, I would say.

That the overall markets seems very nervous at the movement don't help on the SP at all.

As for myself, I remain positive and would have bought more shares if I had any spare change lying around, but I don't.

Not investment advice, do your own DD!

Tough SP when you take 14c as a win after the daily bashing.
You still can't have mine but if you can hold it down here till
after Wednesday it would be much appreciated😁😁

I get your point. But can we not label everything as “whining”? People vent sometimes — we’re all human, and everyone’s annoyed about different things.
I think a forum is kind of the place to talk it out, especially when it’s about the stock we’re all holding. (Except of permanently bashing for fun)

And honestly… where else should I put my piss of the share price ? My wife? Do you want to see me disappear ? 😭😂

A recent comment about Hehir’s hair chimed with something that has bothered me He is obviously fond of his hair. Vanity in such an unprepossessing person is unsettling. It hints at narcissism. Too much concern for the personal, not so much for the team.

This squares with the unease about staff churn and the lack of any strong endorsements of Hehir’s leadership. BRN is a small company with a limited range of products. An internal succession should be possible. We need an engineer with a deep understanding of Akida and the ability to transfer enthusiasm, with congruent words and gestures, to those wanting to adopt our technology. With a light touch, Not the confected earnestness of a salesman.

Hehir has never seemed to fully understand Akida Early on he dismissed Akida 1 as a mere reference chip, he had a strange idea that Akida 2 might come out in three versions, Pico arrived without any clear definition - (Is it only IP? Does it exist as a micro-chip, 1.8mm square, and if so, who made it?) Now the focus is on Akida 1500, which was originally a stripped down version of 1000, but presumably is now a re-engineered update, meeting client requests

Pushing all the market and forum/s noise aside i and many others invested in BRN for a slice of the future of Neuromorphic Edge AI.
BRN was and still is the only horse in town.
Its a new industry and we all are very aware of the engagement to commercial sales cycle. Prior to that no one one at all had products that could even use AKIDA.
Neuromorphic is still expecting exponential growth.
The level of serial 'organised' panic is quite amusing.
There is no evidence at all, repeat at all that Brainchip will not succeed.
Serial 'organised' panic = chicken little on auto repeat. The theory is that it will panic us into running for the hills and panic sell or simply not add.
Its just what FUDs and shorters do.

Although I thought today’s podcast was quite positive, I have concerns that the IR company employed to represent BRN is extremely sub-standard and causing more grief than necessary. IR relations is not just replying to emails but they should be HELPING BRN be aligned with shareholders concerns. Unless they are doing a lot that I can’t see, BRN should cut their ties with them and partner with a more proactive, professional team. Just my 2 cents

Good afternoon,

I heard from Anil (co-founder) overnight, he is also hoping we can get real rewards this year and next,
he mentioned he still helps management when he can and if needed, so that's a positive, just like Peter.

If our two founders were cowboys they'd have ridden off into the sunset, never to be seen or heard from again,
but they want us to succeed just like we do.

Anil agreed with my comment that all shareholders who have supported us deserve some rewards and hope
the market brings those soon.

Regarding the podcast, I think we all know nothing really juicy could be revealed on that platform, but I
thought he just reinforced the company's current position, which really is stable, executing the commercial
roadmap as has been explained numerous times, it's that old story, time, time and more time.

I personally think that we have all possible bases covered and as the months pass by, the processes become
more refined and polished, with partnerships strengthening and customers becoming excited to deal with us.

Just my opinion..................Tech.

The ego on this @TECH is absolutely astounding.

So what if you heard from Anil overnight, do you seriously think you are the only person that has/had contact with someone in the company?

So Anil HOPES we can get real rewards this year.. big deal.. every BrainChip shareholders HOPES we can get real rewards this year.

The fact is, that Anil has NOTHING to do with BrainChip anymore. He is not employed by BrainChip and he is not on the board. Anil would know no more about current deals/strategy than any other shareholder (which is what he is now).

I'm sure he would be very shocked that you are even using his name here on TSE. I wonder if you asked his permission to use his name with your post? I doubt he would be very happy to have his named dropped in this forum.

Stop trying to make out you know more than everyone, or are somehow more connected. It's just embarrassing.

Hi Perceptron,

I believe that you have done a fine job in unwrapping the $2.94 mystery. It is probably only my brain, but I would have preferred that you did the research before asking what it entailed on several occasions. All good, it's done now.

I, personally, wasn't interested in the exact inclusions/exclusions so in my response to Bravo's question, I took a guess about what 'variable' meant in that table. Thanks for showing me that my guess was correct. Hopefully, I guessed my 'volume v price' amounts as correctly.

Thanks for the contribution,
H
Hi H2 goes up.
Do you believe that a foundry or any manufacture of goods would only charge their customers the variable costs? That is, exclude the fixed costings. If you research both variable and fixed costings in manufacturing you may find that interesting.
