@Remark yep it looks like it's not just bots, but people actively selecting what posts to delete, not just a blanket on certain users.

Why people are still using this site to post is beyond me, can't everyone see what's happening?

@Azzler frustrating that posts are selectively removed, yes. But leaving TSE is exactly what our combatants likely want. For the last couple years TSE has been a genuine hub for constructive input and information sharing, as opposed to the HC cesspit. Unless there's a suggested private group outside of both that someone can suggest, leaving TSE further divides us from those with regular and great input that has kept sh together for so long now.

I can deal with a couple months of more bullshit until we (fingers crossed) see a resolution, and then gtfo this place for good.

@Skar, you possibly won’t realise it as you will be able to still see your post but the one you put up mentioning discord as an alternative has been deleted for everyone else by whoever is sabotaging this thread

Click on your user name on the top right of the screen and select "Your Content" to see if your posts have been deleted.

As @Xerof has pointed out when viewing the normal thread your posts still appear but no one else can see them.

If you can't see your posts after checking "Your Content" please report it here en masse.

Yep they're actively deleting posts that explain how people can witness their posts being deleted without their knowing.

This is why I'm fairly sure that they actually have Administrator access on this forum, since those settings have been changed at the admin level, to hide what they're doing.

Not to mention, they are able to get entire threads deleted, I'm pretty sure only an active admin can do that.
Not just moderated so no one can reply, but entirely deleted, vanished! Like my thread I posted a couple of days ago.

And I expect this thread to be gone soon too.

It sucks it's going to shit, but with an end on the horizon: peace deal, Kobold, etc. I'm saying I can stick it out through this new TSE bullshit for a resolution because the long term posters here (not the trolls that freshly pop up every few weeks) do post here and not on HC - because they're either banned or refuse to.

If you're happy with your posts being deleted without your knowing because it doesnt suit the agenda of the AVZ detractor, and having other users constructive posts deleted before you see them.

Then sure, Enjoy living in this place.

But yes let's hope it's all over in a few weeks or months.

Aswell as admin account, there is a moderating user group that can do functions you are describing above. There may be a bug that is being exploited where new users are inadvertently being granted such permissions to this user group. There is also an option to hide the "staff member" field from showing publicly.
