ResMed Inc (NYSE: RMD) has redesigned the AirSense 10 to eliminate a short-supply semiconductor chipset used for cellular communications chips. Instead of offering wireless communications capability, the new AirSense 10 "Card to Cloud" models collect the patient's data on an SD card, which can then be mailed to the provider and uploaded to the cloud.
