Hairy coconut and Wilson (Samsung) which one out of these 2 will have the new revolutionary camera in their phones first..Afternoon Ndefries & fellow Chippers,
Great stuff.
Begining to think we should only discuss this phone company under the code name , project HAIRY COCONUT, on the off chance we trigger the forbidden fruit company to our detriment.

I totally agree DB."Apple is not getting an exclusive on this technology so we could see it used on some Android handsets as well. However, what isn't clear is whether Apple is getting the first crack at these new sensors."
I love that statement.
While most probably also Sony's ethos, it's most definitely ours.
There is no exclusivity, in any of our agreements (to my knowledge and has been stated as such, by management, in my recollection, in the past).
I'm sure Apple would want exclusivity, on anything that would give them a competitive edge, which is why they like to keep things "in house", as much as possible.
Obviously, that can't be done here.
Brainchip's future, not because of the above, which is only speculative, but because of everything else we know, seems assured.
What's not assured, is the share price.
I've been keeping an eye on another company, for over 20 years, that's had their ups and downs, but have been profitable for many years and have just had one of their best years.
Citicorp, recently became a major share holder and the company share price, has been smashed, by a major shorting campaign.
Average shorting volumes, had been only around 100k, these rose to 1.5 million a day, over 3 days, with one day of 3 million (these figures are from memory, as this happened a couple of weeks ago, but are near enough to correct).
This is on a company, that is profitable!
The games here, with managing the share price, will continue, for as long as they can.
I know I've gone on about "short squeezes" in the past and this is still possible.
But I think it will take more than Good News and increasing Income.
The thing that BrainChip will have, that the other "playthings" in Citicorp's grasp don't have, is a true Global appeal and demand.
Yes Citicorp, is a Global banking group, but I don't think they will be able to control and manipulate, what will be strong Global demand for our stock.
Nothing short of that, will appreciate our share price, to where we know it should be.
We need institutions, like Ark Invest and others, around the World, on board.
Followed, by every man and his dog, who wants to be in on the next Big Thing!
Until that time, BRN's share price represents buying opportunities and trading, if you're game, but don't prostitute your future, for a few easy dollars now..
My opinions only.
Not financial advice, a taxi driver, would be more qualified to give it..
Buy the dipsI totally agree DB.
How the hell making a profit from a falling share price is legal beggers belief because of the obvious - manipulation.
The problem is with shorters' is that over the years they have perfected the art of manipulation and unless there is an exceptional announcement, they will continue to bend us over.................
But what can us poor old retailers do? Don't let the pricks get any of your shares.
All good things come to those who wait.

Just playing devil's advocate ....... so what if Sean H doesn't reach his previous AGM mooted expectations, then imo he will most likely be saying that he was unable to reach Co goals because of continuing global influences.... so what will happen to him after that..... imo most likely nothing else and things will just continue to run it's course regardless.I was pondering our CEO's remarks that, at the 2023 AGM he is happy to be judged on results rather than activity. This led me to an interesting thought......
The AGM is the shareholders meeting where the results from the previous year are presented, along with any new news that's able to be published. At the 2023 AGM that would be the finances for the year ending December 2022. If Sean is as confident as he sounds about the 2023 AGM then, ergo, he must be confident that the 2022 financial result will show dramatic improvement over the previous year. Which means that a ton of commercial stuff must be happening while I write this..................
Shorts and WANCA's beware!!!
My opinion only but based on some known facts and some sound logic (I think).
There is a Jan- Mar 4C as well before the AGM so I'm sure this would also be relevant to any discussions. I have a vague hope that we might see something more significant in the next 2 4Cs as when things occur with BRN it generally seems to happen out of the blue. Not setting any expectations. More than happy for more partners and lumpy but essentially steady ramp up. By any measure interest in their offerings and channels for further interest are only increasing.I was pondering our CEO's remarks that, at the 2023 AGM he is happy to be judged on results rather than activity. This led me to an interesting thought......

Notes re Brainchip*
*SNN is an emerging disrupting technology with a plethora of sales/revenue streams; Automotive, smart city, health, IOT.
*Brainchip has the first commercially available neuromorphic AI chip/IP, available now and has been in the hands of EAP’s for several years thereby close/r to mass commercialisation.
*Brainchip has several years lead on competitors.
*Founders, PVDM & AM still with the company working hard to further the competitive advantage.
*Brainchip‘s unique technology protected with patents.
*Brainchip sole owner of JAST rules patents.
*Brainchip is selling IP therefore 90% profit margin and no stock holding/shipping to worry about.
*Brainchip company costs approx $15M p/a and has 2 years funding available if needed.
*Brainchip has a high quality Management Team with years of quality experience in their field.
I might need some more convincing though as the company hasn’t been bought out yet so there must be something wrong with it!
I think I better wait for a few more announcements and price rises before I’m satisfied it’s a buy (sarcasm)!
What’s A Neuromorphic Chip Anyway?

Oh I really hope so.Hello from Germany,
at the moment ice rain in the south, streets slippery as hell due to the low temperature.
Question: is possible BRN price action slippery terrain for shorters?
Have a good day all and take care

Hmmmm… I think it’s a given that revenue is the kind of performance we are all expecting. Three years into commercialisation, and a year into his role of CEO - Sean and the board know what shareholders expect very well, and a few partnerships wouldn’t cut the mustard in my opinion. How can we say they have not already been achieved?
Income was not given as a performance indicator by which to judge his and the Boards performance.

I guess it depends how ethical the instos are (open to correction).
The best we can do in Southern NSW is temps in the low 20s (centigrade) though that is a lot cooler than 35C which would be more normal.
Been very consistently nice but breezy.
Thanks FMF, I just watched a YouTube presentation from STEF. It was the opening presentation from Hiroaki Kitano, Executive Vice President and CTO. Towards the end of the presentation he mentions their goal to create an R&D ecosystem, to bring together different companies and technologies to advance our futures and sustainability. Would be great if Brainchip were invited to join their ecosystemOn ph and road at the mo so no chance to check the links and presentation PDFs etc but found this on the Sony EU side which was earlier this month by looks and a bunch of links on the page to strategy, R&D, AI / AR etc.
Don't know if any snippets of interesting info there.
R&D Strategy Briefing and Sony Technology Exchange Fair(STEF)
Today, Sony Group Corporation (“Sony”) held an R&D strategy briefing in conjunction with the opening of “Sony Technology Exchange Fair 2022” (“STEF 2022”), a cross-group technology exchange event.
Sony’s Purpose is to “fill the world with emotion, through the power of creativity and technology”. At the R&D strategy briefing, Sony set forth its basic approach to R&D to realize this purpose over the long term and to create technologies that will support Sony’s business.
“STEF 2022” introduced a selection of the latest technologies and related efforts of Sony Group’s diverse businesses and R&D organizations under the theme of “Technology that inspires emotion”. STEF is an annual technology exchange event within the Sony Group, which was initiated in 1973 with the aim of creating new value through the exchange of ideas and exposure to a wide range of technologies developed by each business and R&D organization. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the event, Sony made a portion of the technology exhibition public for the first time.
