Generally agree but there is a way to putting out information without continually also adding timelines that have been arrived at by adding 2+2 to make 5. He's worse than NF at providing and missing deadlines which impact on credibility and continually raises peoples' hopes unnecessarily, esepcially among those that seem to consider him some kind of Oracle.

But yes I do appreciate any contextual information being presented to the community. Just wish it were a bit more tempered perhaps. But I'll take what I can get. Keep it coming Jensy boy

Agreed, this guy is our out and out champion. I can't believe there was such subdued reaction after posting that video. Watch it with subtitles on(obviously), it is affirmation that we will succeed. If not the DRC is totally devoid of moral fibre and will forever wallow in poverty. It is now just a matter of time till our ducks come in to line.
Manono is such a carrot for Felix to use that even a total fool would not let this fail under their watch with an election looming. The only reason I see for him not acting decisively up until now is that the Chinese obviously have some sort of leverage over him so he needs to allow issues to be exposed organically and at arms length. The plan is working at glacial pace so patience is required and this video is proof that we are makeing progress. When we are flying again we will have this very brave man to thank. This week could see some major road blocks removed if the ministerial cull is actually happening. AVZ - get out of Perth and into Kinshasa right now!!

And what if while waiting for ICC cases to run that FT loses the election to Kabila who decides like before to sell his soul to the Chinese, and finds a way to strip us of our licence? Delay may not be our friend...

Zijin have worked with Ivanhoe in the DRC without attempting to take over the project in its entirety. I also don't think we should be looking down this path, but as the discussion was about PLAN B if it looks like we are staring down the barrel of an election defeat with none of our issues sorted, it could be worth considering some form of compromise.

Hopefully though it doesn't come to that and we can have the problems sorted and ML issued in the coming months, and then tick off the ICC cases as we go after achieving that all important milestone

The problem is with this viewpoint is it’s incredibly negative with all the ‘if’s’.
Every single issue going against us is statistically silly.
Felix not getting in, ICC not vindicating us in time, recent US involvement in DRC & Zambia coming to nothing, all this progress we’ve made lately leading to no tangible results, the criminals already caught get off, the NGOs get ignored, the mining code gets ignored, IGF get ignored, MOM gets fired, nahhh.

Yeah if the sky falls in somehow then plan c,d,e,f sell the fucking thing, I personally feel talking about that when we are finally making a bit of progress seems hugely pessimistic.
I reckon the BOD if backed into a corner probably would reluctantly sell as opposed to bing stripped of the asset, we are not there not even close.

I know. Still the best thing I’ve seen to come out of the DRC which I can actually attribute value to. Some confirmation of the DRC stance relating to ownership and AVZ investment was greatly appreciated by me and I’m sure many others.

I asked him if he could send me any photo updates and he sent me this saying the crane seems to be working well
