Can someone please go back and look at onthefm's post history and tell me if they have added anything to the discussion other than ranting and extreme negativity.

I've had my suspicion since their very first post.
Looks like they forgot to change accounts before answering themselves...

Bit harsh
Nothing wrong with negative posts. TSE is a broad church.
I also think he makes a few good points about accountability,

Bit aggressive? Maybe, but we all have our moments.

Es ist erstaunlich, wie du mit Unruhen und Korruption umgehst ... du kannst auch weglaufen und dich dem nicht stellen
Maria,

As this is an English language site in an English speaking country, it may be polite to post in English ( translate before posting) rather than making dozens/hundreds of non-German translate.
Just saying.

It's not a moment, it's all they do.

Appeared 7 weeks ago and all they've done is run their mouth or jumped on board with any post with negative sentiment.

It's up to us to create the site we want and moderate as we see fit. I think troll, and I've ignored as I believe they bring nothing to my experience here.

Fair point.

But agree to disagree on this specific issue as I think in this case his reference to accountability was valid.

Cheers.

I believe you are spot on @Dijon101. I have thought the same thing for weeks.

I criticised Nigel and the BOD for information that surfaced ahead of, and during the roadshow’s because I believed it was intentionally done to get them through the AGM.

Now it’s time AVZ shareholder’s attacked the real enemy, which is corruption in the DRC, not our managing director. And my own view is to call out Felix’s actions on this rather than insult him for not having a six pack. I’ve given our attorney a bit of stick because he’s getting paid to get the job done, he’s supposedly an expert in mining and other DRC laws, posted a few second rate tweets on our situation and speaks French, so should be able to communicate our situation in a more open and clear manner.

And speaking of foreign languages, it’s looking seriously like the trolls (including some of Eckof’s relatives) are targeting our forum this week.

No offense!
Ah good old racial stereotypes

On ignore

One thing with this 'reshuffle' that is taking an eternity, is if we see it by the end of the month.....well then what?
We are still without ML and without orders on expediting it from above. So they will need to be caught up, also then remain uncorrupted and move faster than Felix (in theory not hard, in practice however) to give us the ML before the death of the star we call the sun. Taking into account our experiences of the path so far it looks like ICC will come first b4 ML as they just can't help themselves.
Does anyone have any thoughts that differ on this ?

Spot on.

I feel like I'm in a lifeboat with a large ship coming to our rescue.

Only problem is the lifeboat is leaking ( money) and I wonder if $$ will be left when the ship arrives or if we will sink first.

I know onthefm. He's no troll! He's just more bitter than most that his $$ have been tied up in AVZ for approaching 9 months. Br Sparrowhawk

My question again is why aren't we getting the ML? What is the legal reason for this?

Firstly I'd like to thank all the other members here for not engaging with this post, however I'm bored and I'd hate for their family to starve due to their poor ability to be paid per post.

Peter Clark, if that is your real name hows about you read back not even 10 pages and see all the discussion about this instead of trying to *innocently* guide the conversation in that direction.

I'm pretty sure you have every right to be suspicious of blow in posters that show up after 1113 pages of English (or French translated to English) discussion and post a single line in German. I guess Germans aren't exactly known for their ability to read the room though. Has anyone heard of Deeland? I have no idea why we would be randomly getting German blow ins...

*No offense intended to our long term valued German posters btw.

Since were perpetuating stereotypes, this is the correct way to introduce yourself as a German

Many moons ago I was in Cologne Germany for a work trip. Late in the day went out walking. I came across a volunteer tour guide on a street corner and ask them what I might do if only had a couple of hours to kill. ”Where is the old part of town and the old buildings?“ I asked. She said “Oh, that was all destroyed during the war”. Quick as a flash. I said “well you shouldn’t have bombed London then!”, and walked off.
I feel a bit bad about that now, but in fairness I was nursing one of the worst hangovers of my life…

Hi Disco, there was a post, can't remember on here or the crapper, by a contributor from Germany with an experience re Deeland.

The story went that they applied to sell a bit over a million shares and got a response back that Deeland only bought parcels in excess of 5 million and the parcel first had to be increased to 5 million shares, with a way how to achieve that.

The general impression was that Deeland was a rip off scheme and should be given the attention it deserved.

That is all I can remember, wasn't that long ago.
I lack the energy to go over all old posts, but am thankful of the info provided.

*Fyi MB, I see where,

Jules Alingete: "Corruption in the DRC has been well fought for three years and its scale is reduced every day"

Corruption in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been well fought for three years and its scale is reduced every day, said Jules Alingete Key, in response to the intervention Albert Zeufack, Director of Operations of the World Bank on the evolution of corruption in the country.

In a press conference in Kinshasa, Albert G. Zeufack, Country Director of the World Bank for Angola, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sao Tome and Principe, recently hailed the economic upturn in Kinshasa the last two years.

But he did not hide his concern about the extent of corruption in the DRC.

A reading of the situation which did not leave indifferent the Inspector General Head of Department of the IGF, Jules Alingete Key.

The latter severely criticized, this Wednesday, January 25, 2023, the point of view of Albert G. Zeufack.

According to Jules Alingete, the analysis of the head of the World Bank is biased by indicating that "corruption in the DRC is well fought and its scale is reduced every day".

“For three years, the specialized structures relaunched and supported by the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi have ensured the regular publication of reports which repress corruption and there is a strong popular appropriation of this fight whereas before the facts of corruption were considered as normal and the population was anesthetized.

There is therefore no reason to minimize this political will and this popular momentum consisting in denouncing and openly repressing corruption by evoking any increase in this phenomenon”, declared the Congolese financial cop.

In the process, Jules Alingete castigates the attitude of the World Bank which, according to him, does not support the control institutions in African countries and seems to ignore the real mechanisms that have led to the vaunted economic upturn.

Convinced that the improvement achieved by the country economically is the combined result of progress made in several areas where revenues have almost doubled, the IGF is also of the opinion that these poor analyzes and approaches of the World Bank and the IMF are the basis of the failure of several economic programs supported by these two international institutions in African countries.

Wondering what Director Zeufack wanted to seek with these statements that take Kinshasa the wrong way, Alingete called on the World Bank "to leave simple office analyzes to internalize the realities on the ground in the Democratic Republic of Congo to better appreciate the efforts made by the structures for the fight against corruption with the support of the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi”.

According to this World Bank official, the macroeconomic situation is improving but that of governance, marked by corruption, is “worrying”.

“In 2022, the DRC was the 3rd fastest growing country in Africa (estimated at 6.1%)”, indicated Albert Zeufack, Director of Operations of the World Bank for four African countries.

He also said that the improvement in the macroeconomic situation enabled the country to benefit from budget support from the World Bank in the order of $250 million in June 2022.

I saw that and was going to post it here. It was somewhere on crapper, buried amongst that cunt tolate's garbage posts.

So, the scam is if anyone actually gets all the paperwork done, Deeland then say sorry, your parcel is too small, so please top up by buying the balance off this person (scam holder who wants to quit), then we will accept your offer. Problem would be, if foolish enough, you'd buy off the scammer at EUR 1.05, and probably actually get the shares, but then Deeland would walk away from you with some other excuse

With bargepole, do not touch
