A pound of cobalt has gone down from $40 to $17.........wow, that really must hurt the DRC coffers , being a country that produces 70% of the worlds supply.

They say the reason for this drop is that cobalt is substituted out more and more in the production of EV batteries in lieu of nickel, iron phosphate and of course LITHIUM.

A interesting article which highlights the DRC backwards progression, as they were warned that lithium requirement would eventually take over cobalt many years ago.......

I thought the closing paragraph was very apt..........

Ok so this is as far as I have got with the counter. Just need to figure out how to make it update based on the date so it doesn't reset per use case.

Had some good advice from someone here on how to do that. Not sure if he want's me to share his name but I haven't yet been able to implement that advice correctly. It makes the dollar amount (counter) static.

Also need to figure out how to make it embeddable in social media. My secret mentor seems to think it's not possible due to in app security protocols.

Anyway, it looks cool

The new ministrial decrees removes 1 the splitting of 13359 and 2. restores the whole of 13359 .
According to the minining act the splitting of the tenement was illegal.
AVZ has done all the other pre requisites to obtain the mining licence .
So does the MOM now have 30 days from the additional new decrees to issue the Mining Licence ?
As this is according to the mining act .

This is what Zijin are pumping out to mainstream media in the DRC, one article after another while AVZ rarely rates a positive mention.
No point pretending it doesn't exist.

Yet in the New year's message and plans till 2030 from the chairman of the board of Zijin, there is absolutely no mention, absolutely zilch of Zijin's endeavours to steal the Manono lithium mine and to develop it.

He is probably not too sure or too proud about his lithium progress in the DRC that he wants to mention it.
He might be hoping for Easter eggs.

We hold minimum 51% . ML requires minimum 51% . For us not to get it the MoM is either going to rip us off completely (as in we hold 0%) OR we get bought out . imo

I don't think Jin cheng really want to go to the ICC (especially after the letter that surfaced yesterday) ,& that they are trying their hardest to get us to fold before that date , but they themselves won't concede up until the very last minute . BHP have recently stated they are looking to invest in the DRC. I read it a few days ago, but have forgotten the link as I am more focused on exposing Zigin now. @Frank has previously posted information related to Zigin's illegal activities and I'm sure he will read this and let me know the links again.... Sorry for loosing them Frank!

It's hilarious to see poor tommy backpedaling and scrambling to defend himself after also being exposed for his misleading and deceptive articles and now facing legal prosecutions from AVZ, Marius Mahigi and other stakeholders.

If it wasn't blatant deception it would be a joke the lengths he has gone to manipulate investors against AVZ including his recent AFR article showing a group of protestors in North Kivu protesting a completely unrelated matter....

@BEISHA it takes a long time to get rid of corrupt ministers in government. Here in NSW it has taken years to successfully prosecute and jail corrupt State Ministers, and if you look Federally, even fucken Scotty from Marketing still holds his ministerial seat and his own party wouldn't even censure him after he took several of his minister's portfolio's (without anyone except the governor general knowing) and cancelled projects under those portfolio's. Possibly our most corrupt Prime Minister ever and still in office as a minister.... Should be the Minister of Lies and Deception.

Imagine how many companies would be scrambling for Manono and what price they would pay if the country can rid itself of corruption including corruption from companies like Zigin Mining

AVZ International which is the holding company of AVZ interests in Dathcom JV sells its shareholding. No FIRB involvement because its purely a commercial sale transaction by a subsidiary.

Well in that case RIO /BHP would be a nice fit . Isn't the asset held by Dathcom? So not a TO of AVZ per se . Someone else could explain it better .

There was commentary here on that recently.
Effectively from what I remember, that BOD had the 30 day issuance incorrectly understood.
I think it was for the PE decree to be issued (30 days then enforcement), not the ML.
The actual ML is still dependant on the surface rights calculations and payments. (which is a separate process)

Its unclear from the announcements if we need to formally re-apply for the ML.
Or if we just need to submit some further evidence (of cooperation or a meeting of shareholders).

Which is why I assume the BOD jumped on a plane to sort it out and get clarity.

Her intentions can’t be what she would like it to be, it must be within the constraints of the mining code or all hell will break loose for the DRC mining sector and future investment.

I don't think we will ever see BHP around us. I think FMG is vastly more likely, but only if we get a mining license and everything is clean. They are still pitching for their hydrogen project in the DRC so at least they have the stomach for it.

No more silly talk about how little they will offer please, pretty please, for the love of all things priced $10. As we KNOW the BOD will not sell this for double what it is now, they have communicated this on many occasions. Its baffling why we continue to talk the price down when in-fact we own the asset, we can sell for what we want, not what we are given. $10

Agree on the rest though, ICC isn't what Zijin want, they will get floored, embarrassed, rag-dolled, the closer we get the more desperate they are.

Do we know if Felix is aware of what is going on or is he too busy with other issues in the DRC that the AVZ saga is low priority or not his problem, he has Ministers to handle our problem or let the ICC handle it completely?
Who judges the wrong doing and rights the wrongs? It appears there is a lot of evidence in AVZ favor but how do we get back on track?
Are we relying on people that have stabbed us in the back already?

You'd think Felix would be aware of the world's largest known hard rock lithium deposit in his own backyard that has world interest, Chinese all over it, various parties clamouring for control, international court cases and arbitrations in place, investigations and reports by the department he specifically pumped up in the IGF to weed out corruption as he happens to be spruiking the world stage for investment in mining in the DRC
