AVZ Discussion 2022

Kiki also finished article with "It is up to the Congolese head of state, Félix Tshisekedi, to cede or not, the monopoly of lithium to China".

I suspect (60% hopeful) that C & Z are out of Manono PR13359 going forward & hence C & Z lodged claims for damages with ICC. Either they are out or they are trying to scare off, delay to after elections ...; whoever Dathcom's new JV partner(s) will be before it gets finalised.

I think I read PR05 FT is meeting PR Xi on 26/5. I'm hoping we hear meaningful leaks in the days after that and hoping for AVZ Ann's by early to mid-June.

IMO, Sparrowhawk
With only 6 months to the elections would Felix want any fall out either way ?Is it safer for him to hold off and keep it as a work in progress? I am sure the Chinese would be happy to go along with that . Surely in a few months time we are not still sitting here in the cone of silence wondering what's going on ? I think we are all intelligent enough to know what's going on . Punters might need to tell the AVZ Team what's going on if they haven't figured it out by then so they can reduce their salaries and instigate Plan B . Unless of course they have sorted it out by then. In which case they can give us access to our money . IMO

My view for a long time now is Tshisekedi is trying to work out how the DRC can get a bigger stake in Manono. We all know Celestin Kibeya is corrupt but I think Tshisekedi wants Cominiere to be part of the joint venture after ceding 10% to the government or wants a greater portion ceded to it via another avenue.

Obviously Cominiere has nothing to contribute other than corruption, but remember that deluded corrupt nut job (Kibeya) saying he wanted to control the finances.

One thing that has come from this, a lot of us shareholders now know how to spell and pronounce Tshisekedi’s name

The farce continues

"the real negotiations with the Chinese side will only start when the president returns," one of the sources told Reuters.

If history is anything to go by , Felix is going to make a few stop overs on the way home .

Sight seeing in Taroko National park, fly over the Spratney Islands, followed by a stopovers in Manila, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei and Jakarta to gauge the general feelings about the China's behaviour in the South China Sea?

It would be an absolute eye opener for Felix, vely educational.

I was watching a CIA operative - analyst the other day saying he thought China would take Taiwan in the next few years. Not by military force, they could take it legally the same way they recently took back Hong Kong…. Or some shit

China wants Taiwan's semi-conductor and advanced chip technologies and manufacturing...it's a recipe for global control on the tech side

Just a sideline from global control of Lithium

"China intends to reassure its hold on the Congolese lithium."

Interesting way of putting it . I wasn't aware China had a hold on DRC's lithium apart from trying to steal 15% of the Manono project .It's up to Felix. He's in a very prickly situation. Does he have the balls to go against China ?
On the available evidence, no.

Like we haven't got enough issues with AVZ at the moment anyone feeling a little anxious over the US debt ceiling impasse?

They've got until June 1 to sort that shit out which 'aint far away

Will it impact the USA's ability to step in and finance development in the DRC?

They want Lithium and there's lot's of talk about Manono and securing strategic supplies but if you don't have the finance you're not in the game....

mmmmm......:unsure::rolleyes:

If we only knew what Felix's/MoM real intentions were we could cut to the chase . If we knew their intentions are to f--k us over by slowly dragging us into deeper waters so they can drown us we could call time on this sh1t show right now and take legal action . Instead they sit in their bubble pretending to hear and see nothing . Unreachable . Untouchable . Countless meetings with their Chinese masters yet we can't even wave at them from a distance in the hope we might grab their attention .
