Well the silence so far from the DRC is deafening.
As I've suspected all along, Felix has been caught up in the corruption.
This will go all the way to tribunal as far as I'm concerned going by the history of his ability to totally ignore all the noise the past 13 months.

• the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation.

Depending on the type of mineral traded – tin, tungsten, tantalum or gold – these laws impose extensive supply-chain due diligence obligations on both upstream and downstream companies.

I think it's counter productive. But if you stop that won't stop the others from continuing who are smahing out the negative Tweets every hour of every day and tagging everyone in the DRC cabinet.

Agreed, it's completely counter productive IMO.

Publicly identifying the DRC as a corrupt environment for mining investment is at best an altruistic gesture, a public service more in keeping with the role of NGOs primarily motivated by concerns for the downtrodden. Whereas investors are primarily in the business of money, not love.

At worst, such spamming presents as personal therapy sessions for embittered investors, or losers. It may make them feel better but that's about all. To unrelated readers it reflects more on the poster then their intended targets.

Would appreciate if one of these spammers could explain exactly how they figure such a negative campaign directly benefits AVZ, as it pertains to resolving our current plight.

Maybe I'm missing something so feel free to enlighten me because right now I ain't feeling it.

I was in two minds about whether to post this or not, but I figure I may as well. Its second-hand and could be biased by the individual's personal feelings about the company, so as always take with many a grain of salt:

So, one of my close relatives had a conversation recently with a former mining colleague who later went on to work with AVZ Minerals. Though not working there now, that individual said that AVZ were slowing their management operations down to focus on the legal/arbitration challenges, as "things weren't looking good". They said he didn't seem convinced of a positive outcome.

I'm not going to put his name out there as I wasnt the direct recipient and dont have have permission to do so. Given he is no longer employed there this could be just what he is picking up from former colleagues, or an expression of his own thoughts. It was also prior to the acceptance of the ICSID registration which as many of us think is likely intended to force a negotiated outcome.

Food for thought anyway, and don't shout me down for it. Just passing on for awareness, as it's about as close to a licensed taxi driver as I'm likely to get.

Thanks for that Roon but I'm hearing the opposite to what your relative is hearing. I will put it like this; Every dark cloud has a silver lining and we are at the stage where the cloud is clearing and everyone is going to be happy. Sorry, cannot go into detail but I feel good, very good so now it's time to cheer up and forget the past.
