Hi Perhaps,
Hi SFB,Awesome find PDU, thanks for sharing.
As this has been happening around the same time he was with Brainchip, wonder if there would be any connections with his latest Doctoral Researcher work:
Doctoral Researcher July 2020 - Present
Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC) Lab Tempe, Arizona
● Advisors: Dr.Troy McDaniel, Dr. Morris Goldberg, Dr. Hemanth Venkateswara.
● Developing advanced machine learning and image learning algorithms for a novel wrist-worn camera device.
● Collaborating as a Co-PI for Global Sport Institute Grant to understand and develop valuable tools for sports enthusiasts and
old age adults living alone track to physical activities using novel wrist-worn camera device.
● Collaborating as a Co-PI for WearTech to develop useful pill-taking tools for people with old age living alone using novel
wrist-worn camera device.
Looks like he's into Smart Cities research at the moment as well:
Ph.D., Computer Science May 2024
NSF-NRT Smart Cities Research Fellow GPA: 4.00
Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering - Arizona State University GPA: 4.00 Tempe, Arizona
● Relevant Coursework: Introduction to Smart Cities, Smart & Resilient Communities, Smart City Infrastructures and
Technology, Introduction to Policy Informatics
Well hopefully the news blackout was at BRN's behest as the original publicity was originated by MB, so, with any luck, they may not take umbrage.Good part about an intern for us searching the world far and wide for some insight; they say more than they should even after signing NDAs, not the first one to do this from brainchip. Either way, if only partly true with some added sauce I am happy.
Agree. Hopefully, BRN interns are asking for permission first. This would be the third or fourth I've seen. I don't agree with it but I'll take it.Well hopefully the news blackout was at BRN's behest as the original publicity was originated by MB, so, with any luck, they may not take umbrage.
Hi Fact Finder,Hi All
I had trouble finding them but they are partnered with Edge Impulse, Renesas and Arduino so very, very real as is the author of the post/CV found by Pom:

My opinion only DYOR

Too long for me to stay interested so I thought you might want to watch it
Hi DPHi, was just looking at BRN website and noticed this image of a Lidar auto vacuum cleaner.
View attachment 53100
so did a search and found this very similar product from Dreame which certainly fits our MO
View attachment 53101
and in the company spiel they are connected with this little company called Xiaomi. who does have a previous connection to Renesas.

It could be just a stock photo, could be nothing could be something, time will tell I suppose.

Hi BravoHi again Fact Finder,
I just noticed that Arduino collaborated with us (as well as Wewolver, Renesas Arm, and Sparkfun) on our 2023 Edge AI Technology Report.
View attachment 53105
The other thing that I think is interesting is that this article dated 27 May 2022, is when Sailesh Chickpea first mentioned Renesas licensing what they need from us to get the ball rolling, and later in the article he mentions a strategic partnership for sensors, power and connectivity with Arduino (who have a base of 30 million active users) . Is that all? He-he-he!

I also did a little search on "Arduino" + "neuromorphic" and found this abstract in which they used Spinnaker to run SNN for a real-time, low-power solution for intercepting incoming objects for autonomous systems. So it would appear that do have an interest in neuromorphic technology IMO.

Live Demonstration: Neuromorphic Robot Goalie Controlled by Spiking Neural Network
This demonstration shows an implementation of the Robot Goalie using neuromorphic hardware and a Spiking Neural Network (SNN) to control the goalkeeper position. The system consists of four main components: a Dynamic Vision Sensor (DVS128) used as an "eye", a SpiNNaker SpiNN-3 board to run a SNN...ieeexplore.ieee.org

Hi Bravo
Now the question is did I know this already when I posted that Edge Impulse, Renesas and Arduino were partners with Zalmotek or was it just a random observation???

Hi mate, yes I see your point, hopefully they have now stepped into the light and may be looking to a technology that is actually fit for purpose.Hi DP
I went to Dream’s website and if you go to the frequently asked questions there are a number of questions about connectivity failure and answers about resetting modems to ensure proper cloud connectivity and making sure to downloads updates frequently.
Not to say this definitely rules out AKIDA because Dream uses LiDar to map and avoid objects but it could be that as connectivity is a customer complaint they are looking at a way to run unconnected.
Some complaints/questions are about why the battery life when cleaning is so short.

Good morning,
As we stand currently, you cannot expect the Board or Executive Management Team to start issuing forward revenue predications or
assumptions, I'm sorry but that's just the reality of the situation.
When or if an IP License agreement is signed, Sean has already publicly stated that a 7 digit figure is involved, he has also stated a number
of times that the signing of an IP License is very early on in the process, so how can they forward "guess" how many IP Licenses will be
secured over the next 3-5 year period ?...they can't !
Then comes the Royalty Revenue, once again, Antonio has already publicly stated that a company that we have no control over can
design, tape-out, test and retest then decide after 2/3 years to not even go ahead and produce a product for mass production, meaning
no revenue for us.
Then, depending on the small print, if they don't sell a certain amount of units, well we don't get paid any Royalties.
Small revenue is expected from on-going Engineering Services, Evaluation Boards and E-Boxes.
That's the reality of the current state of play, from my understanding, if Tony or someone else within the company wishes to correct me, well
it's all cool.
Regards...Tech![]()
A IP License can land at any time,, I'd like to think so Hello,Thanks to the posters who agreed with what I posted yesterday...even my old mate FF was on board ! and yes FF you are correct, an IP
License "could land" at any given time, BUT having re-read the ASX rules with regards making forward earnings assumptions it's extremely
clear, as management have stated numerous times, they can't just "guess" or "pump out" possibilities, many shareholders seem to forget that a new (start-up) company really has no history to refer back to, this is new technology, disruptive technology, with no track record, we, as the
first company to actually produce a commercial N Sock are spearheading a totally "new market".
Why would the company wish to breach all the trust and integrity that they have been building (fact) over the last number of years to start
assuming, almost arrogantly suggesting this is what we expect, so EAP's take note, deliver or else.
We have absolutely no control over what they do or what direction they take or who they snuggle up to, we trust and believe we have the
most flexible, groundbreaking technology and based on that the Board clearly believe that we are on the right path, currently.
Here's a conspiracy theory to finish the year off...we all know of NASA, US Military, US Navy, US Airforce, DOD, US Government, The Pentagon,
Private Contractors in the Aerospace Industry, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Collins Aerospace and Northrop Grumman etc....UFO'S or now
the new description UAP'S....is our (Brainchip) technology currently so advanced that the handbrake has been put on....
See you all on the other side.....Tech![]()
