"Feeling" just a feeling mateBetter get those plums looked at mate.

Not sure if this was posted before. Pretty amazing to see the impact of Manono factored in by Benchmark Minerals.Whoever mines this deposit will control the lithium narrative...
I fully expect Manono to be the marginal cost producer for all the main lithium demand centres globally. Doubly so if this beast can be transported to the east and west coast of Africa. Remember, Manono is the highest grade, largest size, and lowest cost hardrock producer on the planet. It makes Greenbushes look second rate. Not sure if this was posted before. I don't care what it is anymore, just gimme the bux!I fully expect Manono to be the marginal cost producer for all the main lithium demand centres globally. It will squeeze all the shitty small and expensive lithium mines to death and that's how it will control the lithium narrative for arguably as long as it mines. Whoever owns it will control who mines and who doesn't.
More importantly, beyond just the raw product, those who can take full advantage of this deposit and develop a fully integrated battery supply hub will destroy all other battery competitors. It's why China wants it, it's now why USA want it even if it's leader is a puppet of big oil.

Prepare for all the "You must be Shane!!!!!" commentsDon’t want to be a party pooper but I think we need to temper down our expectations on what a sale would look like. I’m all for the maximum $ amount possible, but the US are doing us a favour in bailing us out of this shit hole if it all goes through, so any US company we deal with would know that and make an offer accordingly. Sovereign risk is massive regardless of US Govt backing and is another factor to consider. Can never trust these pricks even with DRC Sovereign Guarantee, because you know, they follow their own laws. Re: CATH, they saved our arse with the financial lifeline, so I don’t think they will be left out of negotiations in terms of future supply.
The respondent is the DRC state
Technically Cominiere are a party to proceedings but as a claimant due to being a Dathcom shareholder
Both Zijin and Dathomir are not parties to the ICSID proceedings due to never being a shareholder of Dathcom and selling their shares in Dathcom eyes wide open because the lithium price was crashing and to avoid capex responsibilities respectively

So Carlos you reckon we should change the header to just the DRC as is in the Respondents title?
Dude, don't stalk me while I'm working lol.,
Jag......what are you seeing.....????............
??
Don't underestimate uncle Sam and his moneybags when talking about matters of national security - if the US buy the complete project they will pay fair price IMO. What's another 6.2B USD+ (floor price) on a 36 trillion dollar debt to secure control of the lithium market and counter China's control.Don’t want to be a party pooper but I think we need to temper down our expectations on what a sale would look like.
