BRN Discussion Ongoing

Though it's unlikely to hit this past qtr, but will see, it appears the DOD has outlayed about $77k to BRN as part of the recent contract awarded under COVID spending. Whether that's already physically paid previously and the record is retrospective, we won't know till the relevant qtrly I guess.

Jensen Huang says that autonomous driving needs machine learning:

12:00 >

But he gets the answer wrong:

ML needs massive compute = Blackwell!!!!

NVIDIA’s Fully-Enabled Blackwell B200 GPUs Consume Up To 1200W, Completely Different Architecture From Hopper

I'm not sure how much of that power is needed for inference and ML, but even if it's only 10%, that's more than 100 Akidas.

After realizing how some users here compare real people with a direct impact on human lives and actual interactions, to something as harmless as an illustration that was never meant to be malicious (which I mentioned before), I’ve decided to say goodbye.

Good luck to everyone else, and have fun. My fun is gone today.

That would have been a nice product to be apart of Blackwell, it’s going places. One Blackwell deal and BRN would be in profit.

That’s what I thought or was he just talking about noise cancelling tech in general?

Yeah, I think he was just talking generally. Same as he goes on to talking about glasses with cameras and speakers. Think Rayban and similar.
My Apple earbuds do have limited noise cancelation technology but if it was ours I would expect we would know about it by now or certainly have seen some attributable revenue.
I have no doubt it'll come, in time. Just not sure I can stick around long enough to enjoy it. 🤣

Didn't anyone tell you, it's all fake and just a conspiracy! 🤣
All those poor sods who died a few years ago coughing their lungs out were just fooled by the internet and should have injected themselves with bleach or shone a penlight up their chocolate starfish. 🍫 🌟 🐡

Seriously though, hope you don't get too crook and are better soon. 🤒

Good on ya @Bravo , don’t sweat it mate. Your work’s a bloody ripper for us all, even if some won’t own up. And when the nobody rolls in with 700 bucks acting like big shots, we say something like that: Not even a hair on the sack but already lapaloma.

Neuromorphic computing – the brain behind AI’s next revolution

Through research into artificial neural networks, Mercedes‑Benz and its partners from research and industry are breaking new ground in the creation of computer architectures. The company recently announced a research collaboration with the Canadian University of Waterloo in the field of neuromorphic computing. By mimicking the workings of the human brain, neuromorphic computing could make AI computations significantly more energy-efficient and faster. Safety systems could, for example, recognise traffic signs, lanes and other road users much better and react faster, even in poor visibility. And they could do so 10 times more efficiently than current systems. It has also the potential to reduce the energy required for data processing in autonomous driving by 90 percent compared to current systems.
