AVZ Discussion 2022

Winenut

GO AVZ!!!!
You know what, you’re right.

And Mr Evans, I believe we met before at a shareholder meeting in Sydney. If you’re at the AGM, feel free to reintroduce yourself — and bring some of the bravado you show here. Same goes for Winenut. And Xerof, I’d especially like to meet you — without your keyboard.

I won’t be hard to spot — I’ll likely be the tallest person in the room.
Has Kent just been seen??? 🙄

I know this gets repeated a lot, but I’ve never seen any credible evidence to support it—just the usual unsubstantiated claims here, on hotcrapper, and on X/Twitter. Since you’re presenting it as fact, could you point to the actual evidence? To be clear, I don’t mean conjecture—I mean either the leaked voting records from the 2023 AGM, or a public statement from CATH explicitly supporting MMGA/Fat Tail.
MMGA posted a written copy of the statement on their now payment expired website one week before the AGM in November 2023

Here’s the key part Columbo

CATH never corrected them

And the amount of votes MMGA got would have been extremely unlikely without CATH’s support

The idea that CATH would let MMGA run around claiming they wrote this statement without a public rebuttal for an entire week in the lead up to a board challenge at the AGM of one of their most important investments for supply is really fucking stupid imo

Here is an interesting read - where is the Albanese Government when it comes to supporting AVZ - Rudds words ring hollow.

May the bell toll for the bullshit the talk.

AVZ being represented by Andrew the CEO of Hunter and Co at this meeting. Odd

Manono was a topic about min 75 onwards ... for just 3-5min

- hoping to be taking off of arbitration
- positive momentum picking up again between Kobold and AVZ in negotiations
- Australia and the US are working closely in the history --> winnig formula for Australia, the US and the DRC

Actually,
"There was some positive momentum a couple of weeks ago in Perth, before the negotiating team was taken back out.
We hope that is able to be picked up again, so close to the critical minerals accord."

That doesn't mean momentum is picking up again. There was momentum. Now there is not. They are hoping it picks up again. Things have stalled.

Rough notes of what he said:

one of Hunter and Co's clients is AVZ. Hunter approached them 8 months ago. The project is the subject of arbitration. If US/DRC government return licence we would arrange to sell the project to a US company. This would be in the best interests of all. A lot of heavy lifting has been done over the past 8 months. The State department has been instrumental in creating circumstances where this could eventuate. Unfortunately commercial negotiations have stalled somewhat. There was some positive momentum a couple of weeks ago in Perth before the negotiation team was pulled out. We hope that is able to be picked up again. So close to the announcement of the critical minerals accord, we hope that the momentum can be picked back up. Manono being one of the jewels in the crown of such an accord. The Trump administration has been fantastic in providing a context where this project could be restarted and taken off the table of International arbitration and put in the hands of a US company. If it is Kobold then what they have done previously in Zambia has been good. We hope the negotiations can continue the positive momentum and the project can be started back up again.
