On another note, it is pretty obvious that AVZ did not accept Kobold's offer. That is why we are where we are.
It is pretty safe to conclude that the BOD did not consider the offer serious.

I don't see throwing the issue back at the DRC is 'trying to bully us'.

You have to love Kobold . Squeaky clean . Full of high standards / principles and ethics . Yet they know the DRC Gov are a bunch of Criminals and have no problem doing business with them . They know AVZ hold the legal rights and 21000 share holders got shafted . They know the true value of the deposit . Yet rather than pay fair value they would rather rat f--k us . AVZ’s board ordered DLA Piper’s review on June 2 after being alarmed by Mr Ferguson’s authorisation of the “base” $US1 million cash payment and proposal to offer an additional $US5 million in cash and shares as a “success” fee to Mr Mihigo if he helped AVZ successfully obtain a mining licence.


By June 22, DLA Piper advised AVZ’s board to reject the plan to offer an additional $US5 million to Mr Mihigo, with a conclusion Mr Mihigo was acceptable as a consultant after ordering a specialist risk assessment.

DLA Piper also recommended the $US1 million cash payment to Mr Mihigo is properly documented.

Kobold first came in, even before Trump was elected and trespassed into AVZ's core shed on the invitation of Cominière, without AVZ's knowledge. (What the hell was Cominière thinking?)

Then after Trump made the security for minerals deal, Kobold comes to AVZ telling the world they have AI prospecting technology and are holier than the pope. AI my fucking arse.

If their geologists are worth a little more than a cup full of piss, they know exactly what AVZ drilled out, the quantity, the quality and the fact that RD is not drilled to full depth, with the high possibility that RD alone has several times more than the quantity JORC reported.

They didn't fly all the way to Manono to catch a couple of tsetse flies, I can guarantee you that.

They must have thought, that our BOD were a bunch of idiots and they had stumbled over the El Dorado of lithium, which they could pick up for a handful of marbles.
