AVZ Discussion 2022

(Some dribble not worth repeating.)
I showed you the respect of accepting your word you're a shareholder unhappy with having bought in near our all time high. I've been fairly polite to you, but your comments suggest perhaps others quicker to judge your character were right on the money.

If you have a sensible question then by all means ask. But for everything else, please refer to the AVZ weekly newsletter.

Not sure why, but this advert popped up on my view of TSE. The analogy that I can see is that AVZ needs a drink to get out of the hole, not that they are in a hole, but a drink would be welcome.

The solution is easy, and like with AVZ sealing the solution … it won't take long.

4 years on how's it all looking for shareholders, Will we get a acceptable offer this year or it'll be years down the track,

I believe we are right were they want us. Distracted by arbitration and all of our detractors. China/Zigin DRC etc want to keep our resource in the ground. They are blind sighting us with all their shenanigans. More control and money for them if the keep us immobilised. IMO

You left the Yanks out of your equation . If they want it they will need to deal with AVZ . They already recognize AVZ's legal rights . If they need to wait until after our victory at the ICSID then so be it .As a bonus we will get to expose the Corrupt criminals that run the DRC .In the meantime we can all continue to hang out here from time to time enjoying the each other's banter while putting sh1t on the DRC Corruption Squad .So get comfortable and enjoy the ride.

He's been moaning and bitching over on the BRN thread for a good 6 months.

Same thing over and over again. Asks a question, gets a genuine answer, moans and bitches if at all the answer has any positive sentiment and insults people.

Stopped getting responses over there. So is now trying on the AVZ thread. I've got nothing better to do while waiting,so I might as well laugh at him

Like NF said though, I'm not too sure I want to go through another 3 years of this either!

It's been quite hellish, never knowing if I'm going to be able to afford the house I had been ready for when this collapsed, or will need to ditch that hope and just get on with life, especially given the changes in housing valuations and cost-of-living since we were trading.

I've been living overseas for a long time and had been planning to move back to Oz to be nearer my ageing parents when all this broke out, and my forecasted ability to get my own place locally near them fell apart when the suspension of AVZ went in place. That'll teach me having for too many eggs in one basket! So have been waiting ever since in a bit of a limbo, with a constant "hopefully this is the year" mentality.

I'd really love a resolution, even if its not quite the one I'd hoped for. I'll not get this time back, and will be devastated if anything happens with the family before I can move back here here again.

I did hope to use the favourable circumstances of my non-Aus tax residency to my advantage when AVZ was booming, and this has also affected the decision to not move back to Oz yet - as there has always been a 'just around the corner' feeling of possibility - in part thanks to NF's AGM mood-boosting strategy. But I think I'll have to re-think that, and just bite the bullet and try jump into the inflated rental market, as it doesn't feel to me like there is a successful AVZ resolution on the horizon just yet.

Apologies for the rant, but the thought of waiting more years for an ICSID result, and then the pain of trying to get enforcement or a mediated agreement is somewhat painful. Partly my own fault, but still rough.

The newsletter banter certainly livened thing up around here. 🤣

If the goal was disruption then our new troll failed. With regulars popping back in to take the piss and a new meme to laugh about this place feels more unified.

I hear you Roon.

I've been trying to get into my own home since my late teenage years. At first I played it safe and tried saving a deposit but circumstances repeatedly demanded it be used for other purposes. Ten years ago I decided that saving wasn't enough and risk was required to multiply what I could save. Our project was my chosen risk. It would have meant housing security, if not for the greed of dishonourable Chinese and Congolese sub-humans.

Some of my family have passed on since this all started and those who remain need more help with day to day things. I'd like to stop working overtime and be there for them. A positive resolution for AVZ would make a huge difference.

That said I didn't start this journey to be compensated for costs. That won't allow me to have a proper home and be there for my family. Somewhere in the neighbourhood of $4 per share was stolen from us. Half that leaves plenty of room for another party to profit and may be fair compensation to walk away.

Whatever the outcome I'm sure the board are doing their best to get something back for us all.

Do you reckon, do the board care about shareholders or are looking after number 1

I hear you. All I want is to still be alive and kicking long enough to enjoy the good outcome we all want.

If you're not getting the newsletter updates from the company then you aren't even a shareholder, which means you are just a troll. Pretty sad one too.
