Also Felix could be gone in 6 months . The ICC delay shows how China are playing this (no surprises ) . Wait for ICC July . That's not going to happen either . I'll go out on a limb and say there will be no ICC hearings before the election . What's Nigel's response ?
Nigel style of response....
......close, soon, imminent, champagne on ice:ROFLMAO:

Those shareholders who have lost faith can take one last action if you want. It wouldn't be hard. As I've stated time and time again, THE DRC MINING WEEK EVENT sponsored by THE VUKA GROUP is taking place in a little over two weeks. They are advertising the event on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn.

All you have to do to create an account on these platforms is create an email address and post a simple message which is honest and respectful and later links could be added regarding quotes from the IGF and other info

All terminology used below is legally applicable and the simple message could read as follows....

Read the AVZ story before you invest in the DRC Mining Sector. Australian mining company AVZ Minerals spent 6 years and millions of dollars developing the Manono Lithium Project, only to have it's Mining License and ownership taken away by the fraudulent and illegal actions of DRC state owned Cominiere and Chinese mining company Zijin Mining.

Read the report by Jules Alingete (the DRC Inspector General of Finance) on how Cominiere embezzled the Manono project to Zijin by illegally selling shares valued at $150 million for $33 million, including payments which are unable to be traced.

AVZ Minerals followed the DRC Mining Code, satisfied all approvals including Environmental Approval; Proof of Financial Capability; Favourable Cadastral Opinion; and Favourable Technical Opinion of the DFS. The Ministerial Decree to award the Mining License was granted in May last year, but due to the Corruption by Cominiere and Zijin, outlined in the Inspector General of Finance's Report, the Mining License has been denied and AVZ Minerals has been removed from the tenement site on the CAMI Portal.

Chinese mining company Zijin and Cominiere's corrupt actions are ongoing and more than a year after this fraud has taken place AVZ Minerals is awaiting arbitration in the ICC due this July.

The frustration in this whole saga is not knowing either way . If we are out then so be it . We can move on before the AVZ Team spend every last penny of our money wandering around in the DRC wilderness blowing smoke up the Share Holder's arse with fairytales of righteousness and determination as the company nose dives into oblivion . If Felix wont touch this before the election it means he's going to f--k us after the election . IMO
Who said he would get RE elected if he hurts the population of the DRC moving forward , he would not be trusted to run the country

GO AVZ!!!!
@asx_bots

has linked this entire TSE thread on twitter

Tagged DRC gov and FT so they can see the entire conversation history on twitter now

I wonder if they'll take the time out to have a really good read of TSE on Twitter in their spare time

I guess as a bonus if they can't sleep they can pop over to the 2023 thread.......

Hi @MoneyBags1348 . I know you've helped us & our cause too much already, till it hurts. But can you please add at least 2x URL's / links to authorative sources/articles in the DRC, e.g. IGF report. It will add lots of credibility. IMO.
I've been hoping it would not come to this, but I'll raise with Vuka Group starting Mon-5-June if no +ve AVZ Ann by then.

@Deboss @FilthyRich2 @ anyone with direct contact to Nigel, AVZ Execs & BOD - let them know ASAP that we are running out of patience and need genuine positive news by Mon-5-June, 2023. IMO.

Was doing some research on arbitration earlier and found this
Contracting States are able to accede to the New York Convention subject to certain reservations. According to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law website which charts the status of the New York Convention, the DRC has not made any notifications or reservations in accordance with the New York Convention with respect to its accession. However, in the legislation facilitating its accession the DRC made a number of reservations. These are: reciprocity (the DRC will only enforce awards made in the territory of other Contracting States); commerciality (only awards on matters which are considered commercial under DRC law will be recognised and enforced under the New York Convention); the principle of non-retroactivity (the New Convention will only apply to awards made after 3 February 2015); and finally, that the New York Convention will not apply to disputes related to immovable property or on a right related to immovable property. This is a particularly significant reservation, as it has potential to bite, for example, on disputes arising from mining rights. Unlike the other three reservations, this reservation is not provided by the New York Convention itself (although not prohibited by it).

Any thoughts on this from any experts, does this have ramifications for us if we are successful in ICC?

Sino-Congolese Cooperation | "As soon as I arrived at the head of the country, I realized that this partnership was neither beneficial to the #RDCongo nor to the #Chine" (Felix Tshisekedi after his visit to Beijing).

Once Felix was out of china he was honest. Whilst in china he had to tow the chinese line. Thank God he did not sign any contracts, only MOU's which can be easily terminated.

Great Post mate . If we don't hear from the management whisperer. I would presume we're fucked. But incase we aren't I don't see putting shit on drc doing us
any favours as I've said before not just government but the local populace are very very thin skinned and love their country so the risk is you piss off drc as a whole and then we are truly fuck. But the s/hs are restless fair enough being kept in an info vacuum has caused this which I would have thought was managed pitifully , unlessly and an absolute fuck up So no wonder. All just my opinion if I'm allowed one cheers.

I sure could do with some hope, preferably where this gets resolved shortly, anybody got any?

I guess if you want some hope to cling to, I can offer 2 points to consider..

1. Nigel owns roughly 60 million shares, surely he’s got his own personal interests to consider and has a cheap takeover at $1+ up his sleeve to Zijin if he thinks AVZ has lost the battle. We know Zijin are absolute scum and would rather wait another year or so and get the project for nothing.
However surely the DRC wouldn’t want the world to see AVZ get stripped of the project after 6 years without some compensation, and could convince Zijin to pay $4bill - $5bill and buy us out.

2. I can’t even remember what point 2 was, maybe I included it in point 1, or maybe it’s because my partner went on a day trip to Nimbin today 🤔 hmmm..

Rapture? What's that? Its been so long I forget 🤪. Several posters have recently reported AVZ Mgmt saying - negotiations are ongoing ... don't launch any media attack on current ministers or state institutions. If we/some do launch an exposee for DRC Mining Week, will we be shooting AVZ and ourselves in the head. @Onthefm put it more succinctly. BR Sparrowhawk12

Posters here have no influence. To think otherwise is absurd. Anyone can post anything. AVZ management even bringing up the subject is pathetic. It just displays their incompetence. Blame it on social forums. It's a joke.

Think the time period is long gone...once again. Must have been mentioned a bit more than a month ago now.

Yep it definitely doesn’t do us any favours and it is fodder for Cominiere to twist to their liking. They’ve indicated this on their Twitter page
