AVZ Discussion 2022

Relaxed Sunday Afternoon GIF by Vulture.com

Too many sooky cunts lately, let's bring back the good vibes.

So many good things to be excited about:
  • We haven’t been in such a good situation since the Ministerial Decree (lol) in 2022.
  • FUD shills and salty side-liners are out in the largest force we’ve seen in years – always a bullish signal. They squeal the loudest in the lead-up to good news.
  • KoBold is so far ahead in their mind that they’re planning taco Tuesdays in the Manono canteen – Bezos and Gates aren’t here to fuck spiders.
  • Rio, the Saudis, and every other major player is sniffing around – if you're not seeing the value, the big end of town clearly is.
  • AVZ spanked Cominière in arbitration and is owed over €39 million. If this goes all the way to court, it’s an open-and-shut case in our favour, solidifying our value at 10 billion, setting a floor in negotiations forever.
  • AVZ’s new deal is getting the nod from Washington, with full backing from the DRC Prez. This isn’t just a mining story anymore – it’s a geopolitical chess piece, and Felix needs the Seppos on side.
  • Critical minerals are hotter than ever. The US is scrambling for supply, and nothing coming out of Ukraine is going to fill the gap for years. Putin’s still cosplaying as a Bond villain, sending farm boys to die.
  • Nigel’s playing it cool. He signed a non-binding agreement just to show who’s in the driver’s seat. KoBold might be first to the party, but the signal’s loud and clear to suitors; it’s time to put up or miss out.
  • Media sentiment is now in our favour. Even the US media has woken up to the fact we hold rights to one of the most strategic patches of dirt on the planet.
  • Most juniors would’ve folded by now. Nigel and the board? Still here, still swinging, and closer than ever to the win. From what I have been told from others who have spoken with Nigel since we went into suspension, his determination is not to be doubted.
  • Don’t forget the tin
Most juniors would’ve folded by now. Nigel and the board? Still here, still swinging, and closer than ever to the win

and most holders would of folded too and admitted themselves in a mental instituition ........yet here we all are, livin the dream.

Zijin don't need our camp.

Our camp is circled on the left. The new works on the right has been done just in the last 12 months! And that's not all of it, there is other significant works outside of this shot. It looks like they are excavating the tailings also, as that white spot in the middle of the shot is recently excavated spoil.

Anyone know where tantalex is at with their plant? or whatever they were doing?

Most shareholders have folded if you consider that there's 21000 plus of us.

We are just the front-liners.

The writer of this thinks countries put their military in harms way for nothing? This deal no different to deals all the way back to Lend Lease.
I think the writer, like most journalists just has an ivory tower view of the world. Once you get so high up (or worse when you are born high up) you start to lose focus on the levels that exist beneath you and you just see everyone as being "beneath you" and think they are all in the same circumstances, you lose perspective on the nuances of the world.
Any industrialisation of the DRC will MASSIVELY elevate the lives of its citizens, getting paid by a western mining company vs digging with your hands for hours and hours everyday till your fingers bleed or with makeshift or broken tools, is a massive quality of life upgrade.

I do agree with the later parts of the article about legal certainties for private investment and China corruption needing to be fought but that early bleeding-heart gibberish is just back patting for liberal douchebags.

No way this is a one horse race with Kobold the only contender. China know the US is on the ropes. Why would they settle for only the trash part of the worlds best and biggest Li deposit (if they can manage to hold on to it)? They don't want a piece, they want the whole thing.
Happy Gilmore GIF

If they want to be the mineral kings they need this as the jewel in their crown.

Because Kobold appear to be a proxy for US government interests. Similar to how Zijin is a proxy for the CCP

This is what I don't get... Bezos and Gates were in tight with the left side of the isle. Elon is the one who bought into the right. Why are Bezos and Gates the ones with the front seat cherry picking the best bits of the spoils?

If Kobold and the DRC gov are genuine this should be sorted before the ICSID date . Or if more time is needed the ICSID will be suspended . imo

but most of us are going to get real edgy if they suspend ICSID without a done deal signed
Why would they do that? Highly unlikey.

We're still in the game because, NF has played a poor hand almost flawlessly. Almost

I'm unaware that the normal procedure , after years of duplicity and subterfuge, is to suspend the process; the only process that is available to you, because your opponent is unable to put their house in order.
Pressure.

That would be 180 degrees different from DRC, Zijin, and yes Kobold, have behaved.

Suspension of ICSID gives the initiative to them and also cedes control.

That should be the very last resort, particularly when the latest Trumpy BS is that a resolution is very close.

I think they will poke ahead with ICSID and the first weeks proceedings will incredibly damning for America’s ability to attract foreign investment. Hoping so at least.

No chance they suspend until we have a non binding offer with acceptable cp’s and price

Just because the US are making all the noise in the media about it, doesn't mean it's theirs. The CCP are probably in the fat mans ear just as much now they have a competitor, they just don't broadcast it to the world, although they probably did themselves no favors telling him to get lost a year or so ago.

There's a pretty solid history of companies and the such overpromoting themselves, claiming in the media how good they are, next big thing etc, only for it to be uncovered later that it was a house of cards and it was all hot air.

Remember there's no money in journalism. The reason rich guys own media companies is to control people and make sure their brand of politician is in change.
Why would QCoal be bragging about the millions they spent to get LNP back in power in QLD? Hint, the 'youth crime out of control' was the main thing people voted on, even through it was steadily in decline the whole time.

Does the guy who owns almost all WA's papers and news shows have a vested interest in a pro-mining government if he is also the importer of CAT (the big really expensive stuff) in WA?

Comminere seemed to be making a lot of noise about how good they were and how they were helping the DRC. Did you buy all their stories too?

TLDR: ignore the noise in the media, wait for company announcements.

Because Elon doesn’t have a mining company

Don’t worry though he’ll be looked after well and truly

This is a three way deal Trump Kobold Elon each working together for their share of the “big win”
