The voting process for the AGM to ensure none of the muppets from MMGA get a seat on the Board will be very clear to everyone once the 2023 AGM proxy form is released/sent out

It will contain all the resolutions being voted on
It will have an option to nominate the chair as the proxy if you cannot attend the meeting
You will be able to "direct" the proxy on how to vote by ticking the appropriate box for each resolution

The form will also indicate which way the chair (proxy) intends to vote on the matters "if" you do not direct them

You will be able to vote online (it doesn't have to be a paper form)

Voting online is very easy and quick and I'm sure instructions and directions on how to do that will be provided by AVZ when the form is released

@Xerof hit the nail on the head. The best way to ensure no-one from MMGA gets on the board is to appoint the proxy AND direct them explicitly on the resolutions

For the resolutions of appointment of new directors:
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Peter Huljich
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Michael J Carrick
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Ty Ludbrook

Ensure your vote counts when the time comes

These three puppets for Cong, Zijin and others must never be allowed a seat on the Board of AVZ

What you say is on the ' money " as per usual and i hope you didnt misinterpret , i 100% support our bod and know they are fighting hard for their shareholders rights, but NF has a annoying habit of " over promising and under delivering" , so once again, like i did last year, will be asking the tough questions and being a " pest " in the quest to gleen what is the true reality of where AVZ is at.........we all deserve to know, not be strung along with false hope as per last year AGM ....

Having endured multiple extended suspensions in the past which ultimately resulted in complete loss of capital, my experience tells me , BODs tend to express / confirm what you want them to say, but then the reality later on is a complete 180......

I sincerely hope this upcoming AGM is different, with all cards put on the table with honesty and integrity.

So in conclusion, i think its time to open up another thread or find and continue with the old one.......

QUESTIONS TO ASK AVZ BOD ...........AGM 2023

I am hoping you and many others will lend a hand to compile those questions and also hoping that alot more posters on this forum will attend the AGM unlike last year when it was just a gang of three, @Scoota30 , @tonster66 and myself.

So i ask , who from WA or from the eastern states is coming to support our fight, for our rights ?

Cause November 23 , 2023 is the ultimate pitch fork in the road for AVZ future....

To be honest X, I don’t know if Mupande still has anything to do with the VUKA GROUP but my guess is no, and any role between them and CAMI would now be taken up the new DG of CAMI

I’ll tell you what surprises me though, is the shareholders who don’t seem to understand how clear instructions are and how easy it is to vote online before an AGM.

Even though some shareholders probably just tear up the letter they receive in the mail or don’t read it if it comes by email, the process is clear and easy to follow and this year it’s more important to vote because of the corrupt Chinese puppet nominees that are trying to usurp us.

When I get my letter (or email) I’ll post instructions here…. For those who haven’t voted before, you’ll be surprised how easy it is

Just a suggestion,

We can make a video tutorlial on how to vote. starting from how to register if not already register. And how to navigate to the webpage etc.

Then there is no excuse for anyone, we can pin the tutorial somewhere everyone can have easy access or can send the link to anyone who wants to know how to vote?


I am happy to make tutorial and will have @TDITD's voice over as a story teller.

As we are in a deadlock situation and likely heading towards ICC hearings it is obvious that Cominiere&Zijin is not confident about a victory hence they activated plan B to get control of AVZ BOD asap and avoid public humiliation via ICC hearing… These MMGA fuckers (including Tommy) has likely got an ultimatum from the Chinese to get onto the AVZ BOD asap and withdraw all arbitration cases and eventually sell it to the Chinese….

Yibin deal was blocked by FIRB, I wonder if any authority can or would step in to block this MMGA shit given the group clearly has connections to corrupt foreign interests.
AVZ has been in communication with the embassy in Zimbabwe about the whole ordeal, could an intelligence service have gotten involved and obtained info about the detractors?

Those three twats couldn't get the numbers to hold an EGM in the first place, hence this pathetic attempt. They even want SHs to vote ASAP outside of the AGM. Shows how desperate they are as Board are getting close. Even if there were an EGM attempt, the Board must convene the EGM within 2 months of receipt of notice. So in any case, the AGM will come before any EGM. Bottom line, they can sit and wait like every other Director nominee on the ASX. Idiots. Interesting in reading Deboss' dossier when published.

If you do absolutely nothing I believe your vote will not count at all

You still have to actually nominate the Chairman in the first instance as your proxy if you are not attending the AGM and voting in person

If you don't direct the chair/proxy on how you wish to vote on each resolution it is only then the Chair will vote at their discretion

How the chair/proxy intends to vote on each resolution is usually communicated on the proxy form itself or through other communication to the shareholders

I recommend anyone who is not attending to nominate the Chair as their proxy AND correctly direct your vote on each resolution

The BOD and Top 20 hold well over 50% of the register. So as long as none of them go rogue then I think we'll be fine.

I can tell you 100%, if you are not proactive in either appointing a proxy to vote on your behalf, or voting at the AGM,

I am actually trying very hard to verify this

All the stuff I have been looking at so far seems to indicate you have to appoint a proxy or vote directly yourself for your vote to be effective

You can look at the old proxy form for the AVZ 2022 AGM here and it does help explain a lot
