As I've said here many times my only interest is the truth. It's been almost 18 months and literally every document uncovered backs AVZ's position. My loyalty to AVZ's board comes from that fact and if there was evidence proving wrongdoing by them I wouldn't waste my time here anymore.

Zijin are about to get bitch slapped at the ICC. Cong is bound to the SPA's under every precedent of contract law and Dathcom passed every fucking hurdle in the mining code for the mining licence. If there was any dirt on AVZ we would have heard about it by now.

Feeling sightly on the generally pissed off side this morning I also suspect that switch from the MoP to the MoJ is simply because AVZ are currently taking the fucking DRC Govt to international court/arbitration

We shouldn’t have to rely on Twitter feeds. Nigel and our BODs reps should be on the ground right now. They should have at least one team member living on site. That’s what we pay them for. So i can confirm Katamba is refurbing the hydroplant. It is the typical DRC operational model, where everyone disagrees to the ownership of some asset, and Cominiere just does whatever the fuck they want........

In reality, I don't see an issue with Cominiere and Zijin jumping the gun and starting on the refurbishment - the entire issue is a line of dominoes in my view.

After we win the jurisdictional ICC challenge, all the other ones with ZJ then get withdrawn (Confirmed withdrawal if Arbitrator rules in our favour), i'd say we follow up to provide irrevocable evidence on collusion between Cominiere and Zijin.

All their fucking JVs imploding would be the next step i think (with the icc case, the evidence for collusion cannot be ignored). Then we just legally reclaim the hydroplant with whatever halfassed refurb those cunts already did.

Nagging in the back of my mind similar to the split for north, but its all irrelevant and just more noise to distract from the actual first domino.

I still haven't seen the Zijin claims document. Can you post it?

All good if you still don't want to. Happy to wait until Zijin are officially out of the picture. I'm guessing you mean that case will be withdrawn too if we win the jurisdictional challenge as Zijin would have no basis for seeking damages due to them not being a party of Dathcom.

Yup you're spot on, Zijin will withdraw their damages claim which was the joint case with Cominiere if the arbitrator rules in our favour. Further to this - Cominiere's 15% will be settled outside of ICC if Zijin lose the fight for 15% as well from my sources.

Only ICCs remaining would be for Dathomir and Simon Cunt to get fucked, but that's a different issue all together.

If there is a half decent offer on the table I think Nigel/ SH should seriously consider it . We live to fight another day . With $Billions in the bank we look for new projects . Payouts to SH not necessary . The share price will find it's level . SH have the option sell or stay . Still a stella result from where we were 3 years ago . AVZ does not need to live or die by Manono . A far better option than going down the never ending legal rabbit hole which will only cause years more anguish for many SH and the potential loss of all their investment .

Could AVZ then initiate a court case against Zijin for damages? I feel like taking comineire to court for damages would make more sense but being the state company, we wouldn't be doing that if we are negotiating a deal/MoU with the government?

To be honest, and I might be a little too hopeful.
But...
I feel with the traction made, and the coming events, we might have a path forward on this side of Xmas.
I wouldn't yet put money on it being the case.
But...
We should have some clarity with the legal side and the MOU with the Govt.
Not saying everything should be resolved, but I feel like we should be a lot closer to trading.
