During a political morning held this Saturday, March 30, 2024, the secretary general of the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS), affirmed that Joseph fled the country without leaving traces at the General Directorate of Migration (DGM).​

According to Augustin Kabuya, the former President of the Republic fled the country because he was behind the war raging in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

" For your information, as I speak to you, Joseph Kabila has fled the country, he no longer lives here. He left no trace at the DGM, he left on the sly because it is he who is behind the war raging in the east of the country. I was already aware of that ,” he declared to the cheers of the activists and fighters of the presidential party.

In the process, Augustin Kabuya made it known that the young people of the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) who joined Corneille Nangaa's rebellion know something about it.
As a reminder, the PPRD asserts that it is not concerned by the rallying of some of its members to the rebellion of Corneille Nangaa, who works in collaboration with the M23 rebels supported by Paul Kagame's Rwanda.

I wonder if he left on a pushbike, a personal jet, or a free flight to China.

Could maybe have to with the DRC re-instating the death penalty for traitors, they will be bloody busy.

Only thing you can't trust one single word what 7sur7 publishes, however if the entire Kabila family fucks off into oblivion it could well be progress for the DRC.

If he wishes to travel on the sly he should fukkin shave and not wear sunnies!

AVZ made 18/12/2023 the ASX announcement that CdL contained 173 Mt.

The web is burning over the order of the Minister of Mines Antoinette N’samba Kalambayi appointing Mines inspectors.

The web is scandalized by the fact that the minister also appointed herself Mines Inspector.

The realities to which ordinary Congolese people are subjected by those who govern the country are beyond all understanding, deplores an analyst.

Elected national deputy in the legislative elections last December, Antoinette N’Samba found a way to protect her back.

One wonders if this act is really legal given that it is a first in the history of public administration, mining sector.

If such a case has occurred in the past, there is reason to conclude that the Congo must inevitably be rebuilt.

The complaint made around the minister's decree deserves the opening of a judicial investigation to enlighten public opinion on this way of managing such an important sector.

There is also reason to question the lack of effectiveness of government action in several areas of life.

Some ministers in office only think about their stomachs instead of getting things done.

Let the minister, handling current affairs, give herself this freedom to name and name herself, the Congo is definitely in bad shape.

For the mines inspection which justifies this appointment, "the members of the mining management are automatically transferred to the general mines inspection"

This Mining Inspector's job is a mystery.
Why would she bother taking on that role when it's so cheap and easy and misdirecting to pay one off.

My initial reaction was that there must be some Ministerial decision making power (affecting Manono & maybe other projects) that requires a Mining Inspector's recommendation or maybe they are empowered to make certain operational decisions. In the circumstances I'd be looking for an impending Ministerial/mining operational decision relating to AVZ malpractice at Manono that would disqualify them from a ML.

Maybe she 'can't trust' getting the exact advice/decision she requires unless she does it herself.

If she's doing this out in the open at this stage of proceedings (it's just so egregious for her to take on the Mining Inspectors role) that it smacks of a nod from the top of the political tree to cook the books - desperation ie she's been paid to deliver an outcome and she's now going to intervene.

I believe that the chinese are so entangled with DRC politicians that Felix has to wait for an outcome from the courts that are detrimental to the DRC National interest that he can then say to china, sorry we have to act on the court decisions. Lets face it, all the DRC corruption is so engrained the only thing Felix can trust is external court decisions.

His smartest move forward is to bring all parties together for some form of a negotiated settlement whereby everyone has to "give a little" so that all parties are appeased as Carlos has been saying for a long while.

If he doesn't grow a backbone after this new government is formed, it will probably be the worst decision for him. If we go the full length and AVZ end up with what we are entitled, what's to stop Zijin from then taking the DRC Gov to court for giving them (albeit illegally as per mining code) a percentage ownership and then taking it off of them? The best path forward for everyone is still a negotiated settlement.

I'm of the same opinion.

For me April is key, hopefully we have funding sorted out and then the new government formed.

If no progress after that then I wouldn't be expecting anything to happen outside of running the court process. Which also to me means Felix doesn't give AF.

To be honest, I already think he doesn't give AF but he seems to have excuse after excuse made for him. First it was elections coming up, then it was waiting for some court cases so he could look like he has no choice to save face to the chinese, then it was waiting for a new government to form.

I think after April there aren't any excuses for him anymore.
