Gratulations for checking the enormous history of posts.
I am just trying to ask critical questions or stating some facts beside all the rosy picture some draw. We all are in this garbage for a long time (who knows for how many more years). Pretending you know who I am or what my intentions are makes you look pretty stupid from my point of view. But I've read that from you before about other critical voices, who I know are simply concerned. I appreciate the effort and work you put into this and thank you for it, but sometimes you need to take a step back to broaden your perspective. Stop being paranoid in every way.
Major backers of KoBold Metals also include: Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Xavier Niel, Richard Branson and Ray Dalio.
Now that's what I call a roll-call of rich, powerful and savvy investors.
The company's innovative approach to mineral exploration employs AI to find lithium deposits AI, and its high-profile backers have positioned it as a significant player in the quest for new age metals.
However, I have no idea of their true interest in Manono. They hardly need AI to tell them to 'dig here'. Having said that, I am rather surprised that any of them would want their names and reputations associated with shit-eating corrupt toads like Kebeya.
Regardless of their strategy and ultimate goal, I am absolutely sure they are well-informed of the DRC's reputation for corruption, the games being played, and the status of AVZ's stake in Manono.
Cheers

These guys can easily raise the funds, $billions if needed and we know the financials make a lot of sense and money.
Does a bidding war make sense when every party needs to save face?. Not out of the realms of fantasy if Kobold become the Ivanhoe western figure in the JV.
US already happy backing the Lobito corridor shipping zijins copper out via their JV wich I believe is 41zijin/40 ivanhoe/18 drc and 1% holding company.
Just replace cominiere with gecamines, kobold and zijin TO AVZ.
Do you think the Chinese pay 70$ Mio. for the north and the Americans have to pay >5 Billions $ for the RD? Yes, it is worth more than that, but that is not the way these governments negotiate. They both rip us off or they both pay hugely.
It is extremely unlikely that KoBold will raise again in the short term having just done so 30 days ago. And while one of their investors is Breakthrough Energy Ventures that was founded by The Gates Foundation and has those big names attached in some capacity the fund is ran independently and they are just one of dozens of investors in KoBold so I canāt see Bill dumping Microsoft shares to fund a lithium mine in the DRC any time soon. KoBold is currently just an exploration company that have over 60 partnerships with mining companies in 14 countries around the world but not a single one of those projects is in production. Their CEO says he knows only one of those will become operational so far and that is in a JV with a local partner in Zambia that they plan to invest around 2.5 billion in over the next half a decade.all this kobold stuff is pure speculation, hopefully its positive for us but nothing will surprise me these days. US do seem keen to have a greater say in africa and the drc, who knows how US soft diplomacy works, however it does seem complicated. I can only think the US want drc on their side and china is their enemy/strategic rival. Corruption goes to the top in the DRC, so while current goverment is in place I tend to think the existing drc players will be ok, a deal will be done and they will be forgiven for the sake of moving forward. As long as avz shareholders get what they're owed, they can do whatever as far as I'm concerned.
I do wonder if and its a big if, something is in play, what impact does the us election result have on the current discussions?

Their sojourn to our core library could just be as simple as wanting to add data to their AI algorithm calculations or perhaps using their advanced geological modelling method to map out the north. This seems to be the main focus of their operations at the moment as well as then in the future helping to assist local companies to bring the supply found online. Looking at it objectively it is actually an incredibly smart idea to approach exploration this way although it will put a lot of seasoned geologists out of a job in the coming years so any older boys in the profession should really make sure they secure one last great pay day asap as the machines are rapidly coming for their jobs and will do the work without a salary let alone needing a bonus for being in the country where the asset is located imo
Here is a video I found with the KoBold CEO from a month ago where he explains their plans:
That quote is from over a year ago and the CEO did not specify what material it was for but he did confirm later that the bid was unsuccessful" KoBold Metals is close to investing in the DRC, and has already bid on an asset."
Add to this both geo_au's and deboss' excitement , a curiously late Annual Report and Cami officials showing up in OZ . You know what it
smells like ?

Yesterday?Remember the good old days when Wombles was a grumpy, pessamistic old bastard?
my vote was it doesnt matter.
Around 30% of AVZ is owned by China and all offtakeās are going to China and one of Trumpās main policyās is destroying the āGreen New Hoaxā by prioritising the use of fossil fuels again and there are people that think he will be our saviour. Sad.my vote was it doesnt matter.
Im not sure if DT will help us
Don't underestimate how much he hates China. Almost as much as AVZ Shareholders.Around 30% of AVZ is owned by China and all offtakeās are going to China and one of Trumpās main policyās is destroying the āGreen New Hoaxā by prioritising the use of fossil fuels again and there are people that think he will be our saviour. Agree. Trump is not going to help any more than any other president. Although Elon has become a large donator for the Trump campaign so that might be influencing answers.Around 30% of AVZ is owned by China and all offtakeās are going to China and one of Trumpās main policyās is destroying the āGreen New Hoaxā by prioritising the use of fossil fuels again and there are people that think he will be our saviour. Thatās my point. China ultimately win each way here just depends on degree of control. Trump wonāt care what happens to AVZ unless we start drilling oil imoDon't underestimate how much he hates China. Almost as much as AVZ Shareholders.

Now that we have a shareholder advocate for the company perhaps he could apply to HC to become an authorised company representative on the siteInteresting battle occurring at the crapper with elphamale's attempts to encourage shareholders updating their holdings with Automic being continually thwarted.
With the critical AGM looming it would appear that HC has taken a position in support of dissident holders.
Question is: why would they do this?
