Put them on ignore.
No need too argue.
Save your emotions.
Preserve the integrity of the thread.
Preserve the site.

It ain't difficult.

I know I've had a few goes in the past; won a few battles, maybe lost a few.

BUT

Do you want to fight continual wars?
I cant work out who to put on ignore , some new people do a first post but have been here for a few years staying silent

Doesn't matter if you have them on ignore or not once they target you.
I've got them all on ignore.

Different story from China when the shoes on the foot….

“In the lead-up to election day, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the government had been working "for some time" to get the port back into Australian hands.

But Xiao, who visited Darwin port last weekend, said the lease signed between Landbridge and the NT government 10 years ago was completely legitimate.

The ambassador also said the Chinese company had invested heavily in the port.

Xiao said he was hoping the federal and Northern Territory governments "will create a fair, transparent, and predictable business environment" for Chinese enterprises in Australia.”

Just passing on .........someone posted in The Australian article on AVZ over the weekend , that BOD are well aware that SH expectations are above ATH and mentioned circa of 1.50 and being fully franked was his mail. Anything less and the BOD are aware it may trigger legal action against them.
"Someone posted in the Austalian article....."
WTF?.. Who?. What does this even mean?
What BS! How do you "post" in a newspaper article?

"..mentioned circa of $1.50......"

Who????? WTF????? Explain yourself. What crap!

Please, PRODUCE THE ARTICLE!!

Emerged
As long as AVZ does not publish an explicit request to shareholders that ALL shareholders must be registered with Automic in order to receive, for example, a special dividend or other special payment, I believe that custody at the custodian bank is sufficient.

Normally, the bank is the registered holder, but it acts for and on behalf of the beneficial owner, which is me.
It is the same for me: my shares are held by my bank (DKB) at a custodian or partner bank.

I assume that in the event of a TO, or any kind of end to AVZ, the shareholders will be informed of how to proceed.

I would not currently transfer the shares to another broker in advance for no reason, which would also enable them to be held at Automic, and this would probably involve costs.

At the moment, however, nothing is clear and I remain on hold.

Or does anyone have any specific information about this?
I am also of a similar mind, but have seen mixed advice on the forum here. So I contacted AVZ directly and here is what they said:

"Automic Group has always been the share registry holder of AVZ shares, that has not changed. If your shares are held with a custodial holder they would remain the custodian of your shares.

Unless you have received any formal written notification from your custodial holder in relation to your shares they should remain the holder on your behalf.

AVZ will continue to provide all shareholders with updates via the company website."

Like you, I will hold the line and not go through the hassle/cost of registering with Automic unless management advise me to do so.
Cheers

Can one of you guys explain how AVZ might be in a position to fully frank a payout. Don’t they have to have paid company tax in Australia to be able to pass on a franking credit? Ignorant Kiwi asking for a friend

100% Mr Photocopier

Cannot pay a franked dividend unless you have paid 30% corporate tax in Oz

And AVZ ain't paying corporate tax in Oz until all it's accumulated losses are absorbed

Tell your friend

If AVZ don't pay tax on the sale of Manono in DRC or SIngapore then we won't be eligible for relief from double taxation in Australia and it will need to be paid by either AVZ or the recipients of the dividend imo
