Grok’s interpretation of the update:

The statement "the proceeding is resumed, pursuant to the parties' agreement" in the context of the AVZ International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) case indicates that the arbitration process, which was previously suspended or paused, has restarted based on a mutual agreement between the parties involved—likely AVZ International Pty Ltd (AVZI), Green Lithium Holdings Pte Ltd (GLH), Dathcom Mining SA (Dathcom), and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

### What This Means:

1. **Resumption of Proceedings**: The ICSID arbitration, initiated by AVZ and its subsidiaries against the DRC over disputes related to the Manono Project (specifically the failure to grant an exploitation permit), was temporarily halted, likely to allow for settlement discussions or other procedural reasons. The resumption means the case is now active again, and the tribunal will continue with the arbitration process, such as reviewing claims, holding hearings, or issuing decisions.

2. **Parties' Agreement**: The phrase "pursuant to the parties' agreement" suggests that both sides (AVZ and the DRC, possibly with other involved entities like Cominière or Dathomir) mutually agreed to restart the proceedings. This could imply that prior negotiations or attempts at settlement either failed or reached a point where continuing the arbitration was deemed necessary. Alternatively, the parties may have agreed to resume to address specific unresolved issues or to proceed with a formal resolution.

3. **Context of the Dispute**: The ICSID case involves AVZ’s claims against the DRC for failing to comply with the DRC Mining Code, particularly regarding the issuance of an exploitation permit for the Manono Project. The resumption suggests that no final settlement was reached during the suspension period (noted in a May 26, 2025, press release from AVZ Minerals Limited about a temporary suspension to facilitate settlement discussions), and the parties are now moving forward with the legal process.

Still some hang time until a hearing date is set/begins for an outcome . Looks like Nigel might have needed to add a little extra heat to the fire.

There are sub statuses within those that can update the current pending position or the concluded result.

My take on this is that it's the June 23rd so proceedings are automatically "resumed" (being the end date for the temporary suspension)

Further to this the Staus of Proceeding is changed to "Pending"

In that now the proceedings are resumed (after temporary suspension) the ICSID is waiting for the parties to advise them of next agreed steps in the case

That is........if a new date for hearing needs to be set, whether a futher temporary suspension is to be put in place or that the proceedings are going to be ceased all together etc etc etc ....

Not sure how long the parties have to advise the ICSID what they want to do once that temp suspension ended and the procceding has been automatically "resumed"

Anyway that's just my 2c worth

Let’s hope so.
I think only way to get progress is to start airing DRC dirty laundry and DRC folds before it all comes out. Sick of this waiting, delays, uncertainty and lies.
Peace deal totally out of our hands so need to push forward with something we do have control of that might make a domino fall otherwise it’s limbo till l don’t know when.
GLTAH, the after party, whenever that may be should be fun.

DON'T SEARCH FURTHER TO RECOVER YOUR LOST CRYPTO, HIRE SOLACE CYBER WORKSTATIONS

I met this guy on a dating app, and our conversation quickly blossomed into something special. We discovered numerous shared interests, which led us to delve into deeper discussions about our future life plans and other intimate topics. As our connection grew stronger, he made a bold promise: he could help me retire early through cryptocurrency trading. Intrigued and somewhat convinced by his enthusiasm, I decided to take a leap of faith and sent money to a platform called Crypto Mi. He guided me through the process of downloading a crypto asset wallet app, explaining how to use it to transfer funds to Crypto Mi. Initially, I started with small amounts, making minor trades in cryptocurrency options. The experience was exhilarating, and I felt a rush of excitement as I navigated this new financial landscape. However, my newfound confidence led him to suggest that I increase my investment. He mentioned that his uncle had insights into the market and believed a significant bull run was imminent. Trustworthy, I deposited a larger sum to execute more substantial trades. As time passed, I watched my investments grow, and I was thrilled to see my account balance soar. The initial thrill of trading gave way to a sense of security as I envisioned my early retirement. However, when I attempted to cash out my earnings, I encountered an unexpected hurdle. The website informed me that I needed to pay a fee of approximately $105,000 within seven days to access my funds. If I failed to do so, additional daily fees would accumulate. Panic set in as I realized that despite having earned over $1.3 million in profit from my Bitcoin option trading, I was unable to withdraw any of it. Feeling utterly defeated and unsure of my next steps, I began researching potential solutions. That’s when I came across SOLACE CYBER WORKSTATIONS. After explaining my situation to their team, they assured me they could help. To my relief, they successfully recovered 90% of my lost funds. I am incredibly grateful for their assistance, as it not only salvaged my financial situation but also restored my faith in seeking help during difficult times. Thank you, SOLACE CYBER WORKSTATIONS, for being my ally in this recovery journey. Your support changed my life, and I now feel empowered to approach future investments with caution and knowledge. RESTORE BACK YOUR LOST USDT TODAY WITH TRUSTED EXPERTS - HIRE SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY

I connected with someone on Instagram who appeared genuine. Our interactions began innocuously, characterised by light-heated banter and shared interests. As days morphed into weeks, we engaged in daily conversations, exchanging personal anecdotes and cultivating a sense of trust. I felt emboldened to divulge sensitive details about my life, convinced I had found a true confidant. However, this misplaced trust would soon lead to a harrowing ordeal. One fateful day, the tone of our exchanges took a sinister turn. The individual I believed I knew transformed into a menacing figure, demanding that I remit 125,000 USDT or face the exposure of my private information. A wave of panic engulfed me as I grasped the potential ramifications of her threats. Fearing the catastrophic fallout from having my personal details unveiled, I reluctantly acquiesced and transferred the funds, hoping this would quell the harassment. Yet, after the transaction, she vanished, blocking me on all platforms. It became painfully evident that I had fallen prey to a sophisticated blackmail and crypto scam.
Devastated and desperate to reclaim my stolen assets, I embarked on a quest for solutions. This search led me to Salvage Asset Recovery, a cyber security firm renowned for its expertise in crypto fraud investigations and asset recovery. I think I remember reading some time ago parties have 60 days to decide re hearing after suspension . Grok sees it differently .

The ICSID Arbitration Rules (2022) do not specify a fixed time period for parties to decide on a hearing date after a suspension is lifted. Instead, the process is flexible and depends on the circumstances of the case.

Re: I’d say Nige is having to play hard ball.

And spare some thought for the poor KoBold negotiators.
What must they be thinking when face-to-face with lying, thieving and totally corrupt rent-seeking DRC officials. Poor bastards. They'll need some serious counseling when all this is concluded.

Moreover, Manono has at least twenty years mine life. That means at least twenty more years of KoBold dealing with odious DRC kleptocrats and their corrupt legal system. Good luck.

While a little dissapointing the resumption of proceedings ws to be expected. The important thing now is the new trial date ( originally 3rd or 5th i recall). Iam unsure of the process at ICSID to come up with a new date but it isnt unrealistic to expect the new date could easily be another month or more away which gives room for the signing of the peace deal leading to the sign off on our sales agreement with Kobold.
My thoughts are that another temporary suspension is quite likely as ICSID case will not be terminated until cash is in our bank or the deal is absolutely iron clad
Looking forward to Friday for signing of the peace accord

Would be a whole lot easier if AVZ just told us WTF is going on! Why do these updates need to be decoded by direct descendants of Einstein just to establish any kind of meaning. FMD!
