AVZ Discussion 2022

Gday Xerof ,
I messaged Winenut last week but haven't heard back so I'm guessing the "committee" thinks I'm a troll ? If any of the committee has time , feel free to check my posting history dating back to January 2020 on AVZ at the other site . From that history you'll also see I've been shafted by PSC (questionable Chinese takeover) , which is another reason I despise Chinese businesses/CCP so much . Hoping the committee might reconsider ?
yeah same here messaged winenut, numerous times in the top rated post on the other site, relating to AVZ, invited to the road show in melbourne a few years back and then participated in last years raising, anyone in the know would realise to do that only the sharholders with serious numbers of shares got that phone call. so if the committee wants to touch base to make sure im the real deal happy to do so,

Back in 2024 since when Kobold Metals hold 80% stake in Zambia's Konkola West Project (aka Mingomba Copper mine) their president Mr. Josh Goldman once said:

where I think he is right. I think AVZ has a great project. ;)
It is mentioned Kobold already spent about 150-200million US dollars (expected to invest up to 2billion US dollar) to this project alone which has potential to be the worlds Top3 largest Copper mines (output) ... For this reason alone, Kobold Metals and ZiJin are competitors in (copper) mining industry. This year Kobold and its partner ZCCM Investments Holdings PLC want to start with drilling and sinking of shafts ...

Interestingly this project is also heavily affected by the success of the Lobito corridor (!) and futhermore Kobold has a big supporter in Breakthrough Energy Ventures (ever heard of?) --> Breakthrough Look Book // Profile and --> Investors (Bezos + Gates again)

(PS: RioTinto also invested in AI based mining modelling tech. --> GeologicAI Raises $44M Series B)

I think a lot parallels can be seen here and also the differences but it is pretty clear to me that Kobold Metals will need strong partners (probably locals included) to finance this project.
It is also a huge benefit from AVZ in having done so much drilling before and when it comes in the end that Kobold will hold the project then they are in timely comfortable situation in just feeding their modelling tech. with all the cores.

Feel free to look for "Kobold Metals Zambia allegations" in e.g. Google and KI replies ... it is not all gold (or copper or lithium). :)

(Sorry - I had a few minutes ...)

I remember you mate, I’ll vouch for Bloke383 also.

I have to message Wino myself come to think of it as it seems like it’s getting pretty fucked here and wondering where you had all gone.

Nigel used to give a lot of, nod, nod, wink, wink we are on the inside track "connections at top levels of government", saying things without saying things. Now maybe that's just charisma and I should have given a lot more weight to the risks of DRC/Africa (though I just bought more A11 :ROFLMAO: so ill never learn my lesson).

For me as long as NF stayed as clean as he said, dotted all i's crossed all t's, never agreed to give up the north, never agreed to the separation of the tenement, stayed away from bribes etc and we win all the legal cases. I am happy but if there is a single half measure or smoking gun, I will be jumping on whatever bandwagon to get as much ROI as I can (same one I am on now).

I agree our best course is to stick with our BOD but I don't think us retail investors know close to all the facts, we always seem to be the last to find out stuff others already know.

Not on DuckDuckGo!

I work in advertising. So definitely aware of keeping the devil away from my own door!

Wasn’t taking the piss anyway, just thought it was a funny coincidence after your equally funny story.
You do realise that SEO optimisation picks up on your search history and feeds you advertising based on what you've been looking at right?

Programmatic targeting. Look that up.

Wow, if only there were some magical way to reduce China’s grip on the critical minerals market, especially with all the talk of Trump’s “Built in America” industrial revival and the booming EV sector.

You’d think that if someone stumbled across a 50-to-100-year lithium supply and paid for it fairly, even conservatively, it might just undercut China's dominance for decades.

But alas, no such deposit exists. Total fantasy. Definitely not sitting undeveloped anywhere, locked up. Nope.

Apologies for the multiple posts. With sector sentiment turning and lithium prices showing signs of a real rebound, surely this puts added pressure on any serious buyer circling AVZ to stop dragging their feet and meet somewhere in the middle.

If lithium can fall 90% in a few short years, it can just as easily rally, and we're already seeing that momentum start to shift.

I hate nothing more than being forced to fill up your tank and realising it was 40 cents cheaper yesterday. The same goes for strategic acquisitions. Wait too long, and what looked like a bargain today might be an expensive “should’ve” tomorrow.

I really should delete the running 'Opportunity Cost' spread sheet I have calculated out, it's actually keeping me up at night now.

AGREE 100%...!

LITHIUM is TURNING and sentiment is SHIFTING… and any SERIOUS buyer better stop dragging their FEET...!

MISSING it now and that “BARGAIN” will qickly becomes a REGRET…!
Opportunity cost..? It’s not just NUMBERS — it’s a daily REMINDER of what could’ve been……imo..!!

BRING IT ON!

Anyone have any news on Jens and the other big holder. Forgot her name maybe it’s Martha? Are they both still spouting to take 60c or whatever crazy low ball number they said was good and we should be grateful etc? Was posting all over X!

Jens seems bullish lately last I checked in talking about DOLLARS!

Yeah. His tune has changed slightly compared to three months ago hasn’t it? I feel he’s tuned in on the edges with regards to AVZ proceedings but maybe not as tuned in as he used to be. I know he’s not really well received on this board (and arguably rightly so) but I wouldn’t say he’s been far from the mark either.

Anyways, I got a “hunch” some interesting and possible good news is on the horizon. 😉

I am only responding in the negative so we have a balanced discussion.

Not necessarily, I watched WR1 talk about flying out many potential partners and touring the works to try to get their project off the ground, (they had a really good deal with the canada government on nearby plant and equipment they had to let slide). The gist of it is no one wants to take the risk on funding until the lithium price increases, they would rather pay more later for less risk, than less now for more risk (which at that billions $$ scale makes sense).

If lithium can fall 90% in a few short years, it can just as easily rally, and we're already seeing that momentum start to shift.
I think China completely manipulated the market to cause it. They had to have been subsidising the processing so their converters made money to build up their EV automotive industry to where it is now. With China saturated, Europe crushed and the US blocking out China from their market, its probably getting too expensive to keep the price down and they own a good portion of the global supply now (it got so low some projects were operating on losses or just couldn't start up and of course exploration for new projects was completely locked out). So yeah could be the start of a new super cycle.

I think the big IF here, is if China will follow through on cutting the lepidolite processing under the guise of permitting iregularities or environmental impacts or whatever they are on about now. It doesn't seem like there are all that many new projects available globally to meet the forecasted demands. I have seen 2028 spruiked a bit as the tipping point.

Thats also why I am ambivalent on letting the court cases play out for another 12 months. That said, obviously would prefer to not have my capital locked up and Kobold to pay fair value (>$2 would satisfy me for an early exit).
