I think he is saying the Hydro plant was handed to back to AVZ back in the day, but now, alakazam DRC magic, ARE and Katamba have it.

This was scheduled for yesterday. Not sure if it actually went ahead and this is the next one, or it was just rescheduled due to Nige being in the US talking to GE, Exxon and Freeport (see the earlier post for dot connection)

Dam I forgot about that case... so they are alleging AVZ negotiated with CATH during the DD period that AVZ signed, saying they would not negotiate with anyone else?

So where do we sit legally on all this?

Was the deal with CATH struck "after" the DD period with Locke was completed?

The DD period was extended a number of times if I recall correctly

Personally, I have no idea. It was extended a number of times, and who knows how many (or if any) closed door conversations happened between CATH & AVZ in the interim. Will be interesting to see how it pans out. I thought we were paying them in shares anyway, so if they're chasing $$ then let them drag us to court and once we get our US$12B payout they can have the $20M, drop in the water at that stage

I hope I haven’t fkd you up there Daz!! Yes I’ve been lucky to avg down and juggle a bit and then took the punt on the recent rights offer….only just looking good my end!!! Long way from the days of investing in a REE resource outside of China located in Uganda and hoping to build a mine!!!

All good mate I didn't invest a huge amount, back in the green and plenty of upside. Been a long road with IXR and RNU but looking good now.

Break free of $1m USD only applied to AVZ terminating the term sheet

Term sheet was finalised when funding facility was executed so tough tittys for that argument Locke

Locke will probs get the $200k USD tho for the non execution of term sheet by 31/3/24 even though it was them dragging out the process imo

For clarity, my reference to Nige being in the US was a connection of dots referring to Bin59s post, not a statement of fact
