Got to visit the company's new offices this afternoon, much brighter and fresher than the last office, it's bigger, nicely set out, and best of all from an accountant's perspective, the leasing fees are less.

Made the point of thanking all the staff I briefly said hello to, I was also interested to see two full time patent lawyers working in their own office space, that tells a story without me saying a word.

Has our technological lead increased? I believe it has; an opinion shared from someone who should know.

Sadly, I wasn't given permission to take any photos, the company has a new policy in place with regards privacy, and security which I obviously had to respect or no visit as such.

Can we expect Sean to honor his comments with regards Akida 2.0 the short answer is yes, but remember timelines can change, things can be rather fluid (if that's) the correct word, so the CEO will make an announcement when the time is right for the company as a whole, not based on shareholder anxiousness, I believe that to be as close as what I was told.

I left the Brainchip offices this afternoon in Perth with a feeling of calm, a feeling of quiet confidence that my decision 7 years ago to invest in BRN is still today the best long-term investment strategy I have ever made.

My 2023/2024 prediction of growth trending upwards now comfortably locked into my thinking, with that I'm happy to wait.
A young "ARM" potentially in the making......my opinion is yes.

The CEO Sean Hehir issued a schedule through to the May, 2023 AGM and invited shareholders to judge him against that schedule at that time.

The ingredients of this schedule were set out by him and included warnings that income would be lumpy. There were many facets to that schedule but those which stick out to me as I type this response are as follows.

That it was too early for the company to issue guidance regarding future earnings but that it was expected by him that the growth in income would start to exceed the growth in expenses during first half 2023 and that as a result the Board had agreed with him that it would then revisit the question of giving earnings guidance.

The CEO Sean Hehir also stated they would look to adding another quality appointment to the Board which has recently occurred.

That they were close to completing their program for how the company would function with great importance given to the building of ecosystems and as we know the appointment of a new Vice President of Sales allowed the appointment of Rob Telson to the role of Vice President of Ecosystems and Partnerships to keep faith with this commitment.

Further the CEO Sean Hehir stated they were aiming to have staff numbers at about 100 by end of 2022 and this should be about the number needed into the medium to longer term. As we know the recruiting process of additional sales and engineering staff is ongoing in accordance with this plan.

We know that at the AGM it was advised by the CEO Sean Hehir that the Perth Research Centre would be considered the company's North Star and that Peter van der Made had free reign to focus on research and developing new technology and leave it to Sales and Marketing how to monetize this so that Brainchip led by Peter van der Made can continue to expand on its current technology lead.

We know also that Brainchip had a target to accelerate the filing of its patent protection and that this has as the CEO Sean Hehir stated been progressing at pace with 27 applications filed since the AGM.

As part of this process accelerating the release of the AKIDA 2.0 by years end with the probability of producing reference chips based on this IP early part of 2023.

The CEO Sean Hehir also confirmed at the AGM that shareholders could expect to see two patents granted over the coming months and once again this in fact occurred and was announced.

We know that partnerships have been achieved and advised to shareholders with one of great significance being Prophesee.

We also know that Brainchip has been working successfully with Edge Impulse to implement the Meta TF into its development platform as part of the plan laid out by the CEO Sean Hehir and that as of very recently Edge Impulse and Brainchip have been jointly aggressively presenting AKIDA technology to the market and Edge Impulses network of over 55,000 engineers. We also know that there has been a significant increase in direct down loads of Meta TF and AKIDA models on PyPi.

So while you have for your own reasons styled Brainchip as not making progress against a schedule you are either misinformed or being deliberately untruthful to prove a point because you are upset with another poster or for other unknown reasons.

I also note that you feel entitled to dictate to the Brainchip when it needs to achieve certain landmarks and that your timetable does not accord with the one set out by the CEO Sean Hehir. I am not sure what to make of this but as you like myself are a completely anonymous poster on social media who has no known credentials to make such assertions and impose such timetables I will go with the Brainchip timetable as presented to shareholders at the 2022 AGM.

At what point do you decide that a unicorn isn't worthwhile, or better what do you do with a unicorn that was looking like getting revenue but the revenue day keeps staying "over the horizon".
My answer. REDUCE.

Consider: i am still holding. BRN does have two huge advantages, high efficiency in SNN, and head start in SNN. That isn't every app.

Since Aug, did prospects of other stocks decline relative to BRN? What has BRN announced that increases its revenue stream?
Oh it got 'cheaper', compared to still not having any revenue, and for longer.
Good luck with that as a basis for investing.

I get where you are coming from.

Now, I need to mention that I am free carried on BRN so anyone reading this needs to know that I'm not at any financial risk.

Watching the SP sprint through $2 and beyond was with out doubt the greatest experience I have had as an investor. Having said that, I was under water on BRN for most of the last 5 years of my investment.

I think most will now be as well.

If you like hearing the term “ Just going into mass production “ , for the Prophesee / Sony IMX 636 ES , just fast forward to the 16:16 minute mark .

Just before that.... approx 15 mins... I wasn't aware, but VISION is used for industrial vibration monitoring. Normally vibration monitoring involves equipment being attached to machinery (much more intrusive). I thought that in itself was pretty amazing... as vibration monitoring in industry will be huge... just for things like rotating equipment, such as bearings, for turbines in power generation for example.

I am actually very impressed with BRN schedule, I can’t think of anything stated by the company that hasn’t been achieved in accordance with Brainchip Schedule since Brainchip studio days. The current schedule I am measuring by today is the most recent remarks regards to an explosive increase of sales in late 22 early 23. (So still within timeframe to see this come to pass) and then as you stated in your post the remarks from the CEO at AGM22 about him looking forward to next years AGM where he would not only talk strategy, but talk about results! Now one could actually argue that there are plenty results to talk about already with ARM, Nviso, Edge impulse, SiFive, Prophesy, but I am more inclined to base it on the “explosive increase in sales” statement. Time will tell.

It also very important to recognise that Brainchip is still in commercialisation stage and their focus has not been only on sales, but to build an ecosystem, getting the Akida technology into as many engineering hands as possible which I think they have been very successful with going of the Meta TF numbers of downloads. I have mentioned how much I like the fine print in documents released by companies.

On 2.11.22 Brainchip released via the ASX a Cleansing Notice. An otherwise innocuous document but in the fine print unencumbered by any disclaimer or forwarding looking cannot rely upon statements to limit future liability are words put together in such a way as to engender a positive sentiment regarding Brainchip and its progress in the mind of the reasonable investor. I have reproduced the relevant fine print:

Pity it’s just management and the 1000 eyes that recognise this fact.

True and in this litigious world a judge is likely to find this statement highly significant:

“BrainChip is proving that on-chip AI close to the sensor, is the future for its customers’ products, as well as the planet. “

When read together with the various statements made by Brainchip that they are trusted by Mercedes Benz, Valeo, NASA, Renesas, and MegaChips three of which they have most recently continued to describe as customers and one of which they have stated they continue to work with to prove out the AKIDA technology for automotive application.

Stating that Brainchip is proving its technology is the future to its customers is very significant.

The making of statements in writing by companies does not happen by chance particularly in the USA where litigation is common place and it can be expected that the experienced team leading Brainchip would have adopted a careful and considered approach to the wording and the reasonable meaning an investor or shareholder would understand when reading those words.

I received a research paper for Weebit Nano that mentions Brainchip and states that ReRAM may be a good fit for neuromorphic SOC implementations.

Is that seed I sewed finally picking up some traction? How wonderful would it be to see (sing the following to Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney's Ebony and Ivory—thanks for pointing out the correction @JDelekto )
“Weebit ReRAM and Brainchip Akida IP,
living together in perfect harmony,
providing essential functionality on the same SOC”.

The report is all about Weebit Nano but contains specific reference to Brainchip and the following tidbit of how ReRAM could be useful.

Weebit Nano has high potential in Neuromorphic Computing
Since conventional computing systems have separate processors and memory units, conventional chip architecture poses substantial challenges when it comes to hardware implementation and deployment of neuromorphic computing. To try and deal with that, several deployment techniques have been proposed, which entail cutting down on memory requirements to fit the hardware, which is actually undesirable. This has brought ReRAM into the picture.
ReRAM could offer the following advantages:
1) smaller footprint and non-volatility (compared to SRAM),
2) lower voltages and scaling below 28nm (compared to Flash),

3) lower cost, lower area, multi-level cell (compared to MRAM).

They didn‘t even mention the lower power consumption, cheaper to manufacture, temperature resilience, radiation resilience—basically none of the cheaper, faster, stronger, lasts longer. Able to leap tall buildings in a single leap. (I made that last bit up)

In the report, specific mention of Brainchip is made on page 9. It also has a link to prior research they have done on Brainchip. Nothing new for us, but is excellent to see the flag being waved in papers dedicated to other companies.
