It was an old news. India can import upto 50000 top end GPUs in a year only.
But most of the ban is regards to gpu sales, brainchip is still a new and unexplored technology to that regard.
If deepseek can survive with no GPU sale to China then I assume india can easily survive with 50000 GPUs in a year.

A thought bubble in regards to the $800k for the unnamed defence contractor.
Putting myself in their shoes if there was some breaking new tech with a currently extremely short supply of experienced let alone exposed to silicon engineers would I want the supplier of the said product with that experience to pay me the $800k and me source the talent or would I pay the supplier for some engineering support to assist me or my engineers to fully understand the product. If the answer was to get some assistance, would I then be better off getting paid and then Paying back to the supplier that said money for the help or cut the engineering hours from what you owe us. Now the question then follows if this scenario did occur would there be an obligation to report to shareholders this arrangement or to report the contractor details if they didn’t want the exposure. My initial thought are that this would then not hit the requirements to report to ASX. but that could be one of a thousands reasons why things have gone quiet.

Listened again to the latest podcast. Looking forward to some news on specific advances of the TENNs models prior to the AGM.

Earlier talking about the Bascom Hunter relationship, he said "looking forward to great things".
When talking about the about the US AFRL contract (circa 3.40) and the unnamed defence contractor BRN is working closely with he made it clear that this creates other opportunities for BRN - Tony Dawes comment to this was " that sounds really exciting Sean".
Dot joining but it may well be those other opportunities that is delaying the signing of the AFRL DEAL.
It was mentioned that the US AFRL were looking to mIgrate from traditional models to a TENNS model.
I note that US Navy documents posted earlier indicate that they were transitioning via Bascom Hunter/AKIDA 1000 to neuromorphic.
The moving by defence away from traditional models to AKIDA and TENNs should be huge for BRN.
US AFRL see TENNs = Accuracy, power savings and efficiency.
