Appears this young bloke is looking to fire up neuromorphic. Ex Intel working on Loihi previously.
Has tagged us and MB and Prophesee amongst others. Wonder if we bothered hooking up?
I also see a comment to the more recent post (2nd below) by old Rain AI agreeing and having also had a chat to an apparent mate of ours in Luca Verre at Prophesee.

This is my last week at Intel working on Loihi and I'm definitely sad to be leaving such an awesome team. But I'm also more excited than ever for what might come next. I'll be using my period of independence to kick off something new, code named Project Phasor! I see a number of structural gaps and inefficiencies in the broader
#Neuromorphic and
#NeuroAI ecosystems that could be solved better together. I bet many of you see them too. I'll elaborate more in the coming weeks about the ideas I've been throwing around in personal discussions, but I'm interested in hearing everyone else's ideas too. What major gaps and inefficiencies do YOU see? Bonus: What symbolism do you see in the attached logo for Project Phasor? Check out the homepage to sign up for the mailing list, join in, and help steer the direction of
#projectphasor:

Neuromorphs: After Tuesday, it’s all hands on deck!
#Neuromorphic co-design has too much friction.
Project Phasor will accelerate our iteration speed – but we need YOUR help with the 3-phase strategy below! We already have a lot of momentum. Join us in less than 20 hours to find out which company offered their software stack to bootstrap the compiler and VM efforts. (Or join the discord and mailing list to find out now

Meeting details:
https://lnkd.in/gBXp_ipZ February is going to be a month of outreach. Join the kickoff presentation to understand what we are about and how you can help us with our 3-phase strategy: 1) Convince users of neuromorphic compute of our vision:
Mercedes-Benz AG,
PROPHESEE,
Sony,
Canon Inc.,
iniVation,
Meta,
Snap Inc., algorithms researchers. 2) Leverage that buy-in to get more producers of neuromorphic compute on board:
Intel Corporation,
SynSense,
Innatera,
GrAI Matter Labs,
BrainChip ,
Non-Von,
SpiNNcloud Systems, others. 3) Find a home for open governance of the shared compiler and VMs.
Open Compute Project Foundation?
MLCommons?
EDGE AI FOUNDATION?
The Khronos Group? There’s more, mostly captured in this spreadsheet:

Congrats on the great run with Loihi, Brian. And great idea! I was speaking recently with
Luca Verre about the missing pieces in the broader neurormorphic narrative, and am thinking about ways to unify the ecosystem. Would love to chat about it more sometime
