1.Yemen – start of direct U.S. strikes against AQAP (December 2009)
- Start: 17 & 24 December 2009 (cruise-missile / JSOC strikes against AQAP in Yemen).
3. Somalia – expansion of the drone war to Somalia (June 2011)
- Start: 30 June 2011 – first reported U.S. drone strikes in Somalia (expansion of the drone campaign).
- Start: October 2011 – Operation Observant Compass (U.S. advisors/support for regional forces against the LRA).
- Start: 8 August 2014 – beginning of U.S. airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq (part of what later became the OIR campaign).
- Start: 23 September 2014 – beginning of U.S. airstrikes against ISIS targets in Syria.
- Start of the time window: from 13 Nov 2015 the U.S. intervention (2015–2019) begins (against ISIS and others).
- Large, clearly named campaign: 1 August 2016 (U.S. airstrikes supporting operations against ISIS in Sirte; often associated with “Odyssey Lightning”).
- Pakistan (drone war): Obama authorized strikes very early in his term (e.g., shortly after taking office).
- Afghanistan and Iraq (2003 war): Obama ended/reduced them, and later restarted airstrikes in Iraq specifically against ISIS (see above).

Why "The Start" is actually Q3
in a company that is just now hitting its first real commercial stride. Here is the evidence that the "real" journey is about to begin:
• The TSMC Shift: On February 13, 2026, BrainChip committed US$2.5 Million to the AKD2500 project on TSMC’s 12nm process. This is the first time they are building on a "world-standard" manufacturing node. Prototype silicon is due in Q3 2026. For an IP company, the day you get the TSMC silicon back is the day you "start."
Don’t know about the rest of you but this is what I am looking forward to

But yes the landscape will change as it has in the past and it will in the future too
We just have to keep your faith in the end result not the short term setting up the game
Investing in BRN is like playing a game of monopoly it’s long and it can be played to win or you can pull out if you don’t set your self up correctly in the beginning. Sean is getting there we will get there if we all stick together.
