Morning Realinfo & fellow Chippers ,Don’t ya just luv a little pillow talk?
It is perhaps debatable if the following comes under the banner of Beneficial AI, but it’s my attempt at combining dot joining and a touch of ‘fly on the wall’…
While most of the public attention has been on Australia’s intention to acquire eight nuclear powered subs, the AUKUS security partnership is much more. The US, UK and Oz are also collaborating on advanced technologies like hypersonic weapons, undersea intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, to name but a few areas of interest. Other countries are likely to be invited to join the party.
According to my mates in Russell, AI will be front and centre in the development of these advanced technologies…the project is known as PILLAR 2.
Merry Christmas everybody…me myself personally will ‘be seeing my dad, my brother and sister, my gran and my mum…we’ll be drinking white wine in the sun’
White Wine in the Sun by Tim Minchin would have to be my all-time favorite Christmas tune. Thanks for the reminder!Don’t ya just luv a little pillow talk?

As I said before, we owe Intel a debt of gratitude for the red herring of Loihi which has diverted potential competitors of Akida up a blind alley.Great catch @Rocket77
Must Listen.
A commercial Loihi chip may be years away.
Loihi challenge is to develop a simpler way to program Loihi 1 & 2 that is not painful and requires you to have a PhD.
On top of this in a private communication between myself Tony Dawe and Peter van der Made stated that Loihi 2 runs at 1.5 to 3 watts and AKIDA 1.0 runs at uW’s to mW’s.
Six to eight years if you want to use Loihi 2 in your tech product. Sounds like the way to tech obscurity.
My opinion only DYOR

AKIDA BALLISTA
I have notice in the last few days on Sydney Commercial TV, that DELL and INTEL are promoting each other in a joint commercial ........... Seems IMO as though Intel wants to improve their net working / associations of late. The good thing is after the whole video she talks about brainchip in the end. I would think Mike davies would have seen the whole video before it was published considering his position, he would like to know what is going to be published . He let her mention brainchip akida in the end. Seems like hmmmmm.
My nomination for TSEx Hall Of Fame 2022As I said before, we owe Intel a debt of gratitude for the red herring of Loihi which has diverted potential competitors of Akida up a blind alley.
Elon was live on twitter a few hours ago answering questions from listeners. People got to switch on their mics and speak to him. I logged on just as he mentioned energy efficiency and battery life. I clicked immediately to ask a question and braced myself, practicing what I was going to say about neuromorphic technology and whether he thought spiking neural networks would improve the performance of Tesla vehicles, but he stopped taking questions before they got to me.
I don’t know if I was devastated or relieved because I just about wet myself with nerves.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I could’ve had the answer to your question but instead I have a story about a missed opportunity of a lifetime![]()
You may be in a state of Gobsmackery but I think all the LTH'ers will soon be in a state of Peacockery.Wow, wow. wwwwow.
After listening to this EEJournal interview one doesn't need a PhD in neuromorphic inferencing to appreciate that Brainchip/Akida is light years ahead of Intel/Loihi for commercial implementation of neuromorphic whatever. I'm in a state of gobsmackery.......That is my favorite Australian state.
Curious to know how Intel handles their new formal relationship with Brainchip. Do they tout 'rival' technology. It will only bring more focus on how far behind they are. Do they buy Brainchip for what would have to be an outrageous sum....and fold on their Loihi aspirations. Do they suppress Akida's wonderfulness. What gives?
You can see that I am struggling mightily with this.
Help me find the roadmap.....to peace and prosperity and understanding
On a personal note.....leaving Waiheke Island tomorrow (it has been fabuloso)....for my home .. Mexico.
Feliz Navidad a todos y hasta pronto

It will in my opinion be impossible for Intel to suppress "AKIDA's wonderfulness" given that they do not have an exclusive relationship.Wow, wow. wwwwow.

Seem to use different architecture and far too much power. I will await the verdict of @Diogenese![]()
