Certainly pre Trump one would have thought so.
In this current world, with his petulant self and so many of his sycophants, with so many of their grubby hands on so many lever's, it's hard to know.
How will the accumulated wisdom, inherent in the trading algorithms read the play? 🤣
At the moment, with his attention fixated on receiving praise for the ceasefire in Gaza, we may have to wait for a Taco Tuesday till he flips, or maybe till the government infrastructure grinds closer to a shuddering halt and the supply of Toupee tape and Big Mac's are threatened, before he's panicked into some suck up gesture to China.
The clown's are in charge at the moment. 🙃
Anything could happen.
Just nobody mention the Epstein files. 🤣

I’m proud … very proud .. and I mean proud in a way no President in the history of the United States has ever been … to tell you that yesterday was one of the greatest, most incredible days this country has ever seen. People are saying it … everybody’s saying it! It was truly something special, folks…

I spoke for a long time …a long time …with the President of Papua New Guinea. Great guy. Really great. Tremendous man. He praised me for my extraordinary intelligence …and you know, a lot of people do that. They do! He’s got a feeling for people, he understands people. One of the smartest men in Papua New Guinea, believe me.

And I said to him… I said, ‘Papu,’ I call him Papu … ‘we’re giving you an 80% tariff cut from the 180% I was going to announce, because you’re a good guy. A really good guy.’ And in return, we’ll send you 100% organic certified pesticides … the best pesticides, folks, nobody makes them like we do … and your farms will bloom like never before. It’s going to be beautiful. He called me ten times … ten times! … just to say thank you. That’s respect, folks. That’s leadership.

Hi Hoppy,

Trump has alienated so much of his maga base and motivated the 30% non-voters so he is sure to lose the mid-terms - that is if he allows them to proceed. For the good of the world, we have to hope that the military will observe their oath and preserve the spirit of the constitution ... and the no kings philosophy. Sometimes, to make an omelette, ...

Oh, sorry. Wrong board. How did I get on to the Donald Trump take down board. So sorry.
Can some one point me in the direction of the Brainchip board. It used to be here.

Howdy Dodge.
I don't have much of a "feel" for the prevailing zeitgeist within America atm, beyond the fact that it is more profoundly divided than at any previous point, within my lifetime, that I can recall.
Of course, there has always been the contest of ideas between the left and right, the dems and republicans, the progressives and conservatives, with good, intelligent and well meaning people on both sides.
But the current maga mania, built on this perverse cult of personality, seems to be shaking a democratic icon to its core.
It really feels like we are witnessing the decline of the American empire, and the whole rest of the world is scrambling to try and pick up the pieces.
Hopefully some better angel's will restrain his impetuosity before China calculates the time is ripe, to take back Taiwan.

Hi Newk.
It's a lazy Sunday arvo.
Feel free to skip over if the discourse is not sufficiently restrained in its nature to suit your taste.
But, in the broader macro economic sense, there may be, perhaps, just some small scintilla of relevance to the BrainChip share price. 🤣

Both you and Diogenese have no idea.
Diogenese, you should stick to your strengths of technology knowledge.
Neither of you have any idea of what is really happening in the World.

Even María Corina Machado dedicated her Nobel Peace Prize to President Donald Trump, praising his support for her fight for democracy in Venezuela and in his contributions to ending 8 wars/conflicts.

So many Trump deranged people "think" he is a threat to Democracy.
What a load of crap!
He was Democratically elected!

People swallow the poisoned rhetoric of the Left mainstream media, without question.

He is a 79 year old multi-billionaire, taking no Presidential pay, working hours that a 20 year old would refuse, for his country and for the World and all "small minded" people can do, is spew hate and criticism.

Well, that didn't help things.
I think Hopalong is under the misapprehension that anything Trump has to say will affect the BRN price. I don't think the shorters really take to much notice. Anything Trump has to say pales ito insigificance compared to the power of the shorters.
So please, no more Trump, just BRN.

I apologise Diogenese.
I have absolutely no right to tell you what you can discuss.
Feel free to waffle on about, what you clearly have limited knowledge of.

I barely drink.
I had 1 beer last night with a mate, last 1 before that, was the previous Saturday with my sister.
Before that, would have been several weeks and most likely just one or two.

I have no reason to "drink".

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
Anil Mankar has "liked" a LinkedIn post from Lantronix.

Lantronix says it has a “strong relationship” with Qualcomm Technologies for more than 15 years. In October 2024, Lantronix announced five new System-in-Package (SiP) solutions powered by Qualcomm Technologies’ chipsets, for AI/ML and video solutions at the edge.

Anyhoo, I know some will argue that Anil liking a post doesn’t mean much and he could’ve just as easily liked a photo of a new power drill. Fair enough, but I’m hoping there’s more than a trip to Bunnings behind this like.

The post in question relates to Lantronix and if you watch the video I found (published 17 Sept 2025, featuring Saleel Awsare, CEO of Lantronix), I think it's pretty interesting.

At around the 1:30 minute mark, Saleel describes a use case involving drones that recognise an event and only transmit data after that event occurs, rather than continuously streaming from the edge back to a base station. This seems like a description of event-based computing - the same paradigm at the heart of neuromorphic processing. Think Prophesee + BrainChip.

Saleel goes on to discuss work supporting the U.S. Government. He also mentions collaborations with 10 drone manufacturers, focusing on enabling advanced camera systems. He suggests the drone vertical alone could be a $10 billion opportunity by 2030, if I heard him correctly??

This kind of low-power, high-efficiency, event-driven vision application for drones is exactly where BrainChip + Prophesee shine. Think along the same lines as the AQUIMERA + Prophesee + BrainChip project, the Neurobus and BRAVE1 initiatives, or the Data Science UA + BrainChip reforestation drone project. Not to mention the ISL / RTX / U.S. Air Force Research Lab alliance, which you'd have to think would almost certainly involve drone-based autonomy at the edge at some point in the future.

Outside of neuromorphic computing, I believe there are only a few architectures that can approximate this kind of efficiency, but I don't think any do it natively:
  • Edge NPUs + event cameras (Qualcomm Hexagon, Nvidia Jetson) can simulate event triggers but still rely on frame-based AI.
  • FPGA trigger logic can pre-filter events before hitting the CPU/GPU, but it’s not learning-adaptive.
  • TinyML on MCUs can handle simple wake-word-type events but lacks true spiking efficiency.
I believe neuromorphic processors are uniquely suited to the drone applications that Saleel Awsare described in the video.

If Lantronix are already integrating event-based vision into their drone platforms, then I'm hoping that a BrainChip collaboration might be a natural fit.

Time will tell.

Find it interesting that we already have a long standing connection with Raspberry Pi and can use our latest M.2 card with Pi 5 and now Prophesee has finally connected with Raspberry Pi for the first time.

Reckon this will give developers great access to neuromorphic vision cameras and a neuromorphic chip in one kit essentially imo.

Event-based vision comes to Raspberry Pi 5 with the Prophesee GenX320 Starter Kit

If you’ve ever wished your Raspberry Pi projects could see faster, smarter, and with far less power, we’ve found something you might like. Event-based vision systems specialists Prophesee have launched the GenX320 Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 5, bringing their neuromorphic (inspired by the structure and function of the human brain) sensing technology to the Raspberry Pi developer community for the first time.

Accelerating Edge AI Development with BrainChip and Raspberry Pi

BrainChip provides the AKD1000 PCIe card and the AKD1000 M.2 cards, development boards that incorporate a neuromorphic processor. These can be bundled into development kits, including a small form factor PC and the Raspberry Pi 4 both with the AKD1000 PCIe card and the Raspberry Pi 5 with the AKD1000 M.2 card. Paired with the Akida MetaTF tools available on our Developer Hub
