Nice work
I bought more last week and will be buying again!
IMO .... I think this announcement is an admission that we have lost the last 4 years on the CEO's " IP " pathway rather than originally staying with the " Chip " commercialisation route all along. Some people never happy!!
We have been asking for some ASX correspondence/Announcements and finally we do!!
This is great news moving forwards .....
No $$$$$ attached the only negative!
Will this be the start of using the ASX more often?? Let's hope so![]()

Like your clip ..... might just represent what the CEO & BOD's is thinking of us s/holders
I think guzzi did describe it very well what the GIF meansLike your clip ..... might just represent what the CEO & BOD's is thinking of us s/holders![]()

Manny.Hi Doz, reading the agreement and the further info ann it is actually very good that Megachips did not renew the license.
It means that Megachips have completed the design and manufacture for external clients products.
Acumino began robot demonstrations in September 2025 so for that to happen the chip had to have been available. The license expired in Nov'25.
Megachips have set aside an area on their premises for demonstrations.
One of the main reasons Megachips stated for taking out the licence was the 'on 'chip learning'.
The expiration of the license will not effect royalty obligations but if for example they wanted GEN 2 they would likely need a fresh licence.
As discussed its a fair bet they are using AKIDA TECH and they can market the product under their own chosen name.
For competitive reasons they may chose not to mention neuromorphic, Brainchip of AKIDA.
They may well be selling robots by before or by the end of the year.
Acumino provide the software and Megachips the hardware.
As you mentioned both the Magachips agreement with Brainchip and the Acumino agreement with Megachips are for Japan.
IMO it really is adding up to be a Megachips 'AKIDA' in those robots.

Strategic Partnership with MegaChips (01/2025)
We have announced the signing of an investment and exclusive distribution agreement for the Japanese market with MegaChips Corporation, a prominent Japanese semiconductor firm. This agreement marks a significant milestone in Acumino’s mission to advance AI-driven dexterous robotics. The company’s technology enables robots to achieve unparalleled dexterity and return on investment (ROI) in performing tasks that were previously considered impossible to automate.
Through this partnership, Acumino and MegaChips will collaborate to develop and deploy next-generation AI-powered robotic workers in Japan, addressing critical labor shortages. These robotic workers will help bridge labor and skill gaps by improving productivity in a fast, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient manner.
MegaChips Corporation, founded in 1990, specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of integrated circuits (ICs). The company is known for its expertise in creating custom ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits) and System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, and telecommunications. MegaChips provides advanced semiconductor solutions to global clients, with applications in image-processing technology, image sensors, data transmission, and high-performance computing. In recent years, MegaChips has expanded its focus to include 5G communication, AI, and the Internet of Things (IoT), catering to the growing demand for cutting-edge technology.
Tetsuo Hikawa, President and CEO of MegaChips, said:
“Acumino’s technology, with its hardware-agnostic and scalable AI system, enhances production technologies and addresses the challenges many companies face in manufacturing site. By forming a partnership with Acumino, who has unparalleled technology, we expect this collaboration to significantly contribute to the expansion of MegaChips’ new business ventures in the future.”
