As long as they sign something in Washington re a peace deal I could care less . Who cares about the details .You can't trust anything they sign or say anyway . What's important is the US can flex it's muscle and it's good PR . I'm more interested in the Security for Minerals deal . The more Rwandans /M23 in the DRC the merrier . Felix got to have security .

On a lighter note, for the first time in years, I had a wonderful date last night. It was perfect.

Tonight I'm gonna try the figs.

100% agree.

Depending on how you read this bit, you could say that whatever gets signed this week should be what we need, regardless of the nuances re troop withdrawals. Positive sign is that DRC were willing to compromise on their demands.

...Congolese and Rwandan officials are expected to sign a peace deal in Washington on Friday ...

The agreement also aims to attract Western investment ... giving the U.S. access to critical minerals.

The Rwanda troops will have to take up home brewing.
Heineken has closed its breweries in Goma and Bukavu and repatriated its staff.
That will fuck um.
New job for the Count

Is Felix blaming the US ?

Asked about Donald Trump's motives, Tshisekedi replied: "First, because he announced it himself. Second, President Trump represents the world's leading power. […] The United States bears some responsibility for what happened in the region. That doesn't mean they are guilty, but they trusted a regime—the Rwandan regime—that was involved in the genocide. In trying to correct their mistakes, they provoked others, particularly in the DRC."

Trump 100% deserves a Noble Peace Prize if he can turn this around.

Progressives won't pay attention to it because their is no evil white colonisers to root against or ending an amost half century conflict with millions of dead is nullified by the fact Trump thinks Men can't become Women.

The agreement also aims to attract Western investment to the two countries' mining sectors, which boast deposits of tantalum, gold, cobalt, copper and lithium, while giving the U.S. access to critical minerals.

Yep that is the bit that got my attention too. Is this what we have been waiting for or is there a seperate minerals for security deal still to come ?

By all accounts there will be a seperate DRC-US mineral for security deal to follow. Initially it was suggested this would be signed the same day as the peace deal. That narrative seems to have dropped from the public radar, but it still could be the case. fingers crossed thats what happens!

I expect though thats its more likely now it it be done at a later date, but we'll see what tomorrow brings.

$12 a can maybe?
COD only.

$12 a can, and they arrange their own freight from Aus.

Prepaid.

Do NOT use escrow!

And don't forget, once they've done the work to order, arrange freight etc, you can alway sell the cans to someone else instead.......

Off topic, and not humour, but possibly a bit of a positive note for those in lithium...

Yap AVZ dollars would help right now to pump into some undervalued stonks

I thought it was interesting that AVZ included the word 'respectful' in their last announcement. The sentence doesn't need it but with what we are now hearing in regards to the DRC reps' behaviour in Washington, it confirms what I suspected.....
