Maybe it's because KoBold is now entering territory that is borderline illegal until they compensate us. It's not exactly ethical, and they don't want to promote it, but I think it's the only way this can be done. They have to obtain the mining licence first — which goes against the international court ruling — and then compensate AVZ. After that, everything becomes legal and they can promote it.
It might sound naive, especially after everything we've been through, but I just don’t believe they want to steal it. They’ve also publicly confirmed that, by stating that AVZ must be compensated.

I think you have clearly articulated what many of us have understood for some time.

Robust journalistic scrutiny and analysis are regularly replaced by mindless regurgitation of previous commentary. Social media commentary tends to suffer the same fate, but posters can be forgiven for not having all the tools and networks that are available to journalists.

While some articles, such as those in the Australian and AFR seem to be agenda-driven and clearly lack credibility, journalistic commentary generally is just a dumbed down approach with and a word changed here and there to give the impression of independence. However, most tend to be just lazy versions of previous articles.

Whenever I read, KoBold Metals - backed by billionaires Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, I just jog on in the knowledge that the article is probably just another vacuous copy and paste of someone else's copy and paste.
