Could it be the DRC Gov need to wait on the MMSC outcome to ensure when they cut up the Manono pie, it is done once and only once? Would the Gov not want to make 100% they hold the percentage they want and no surprises? All other ICC cases on equity are between AVZ, Zijin and Dathomir, so IMO once ICC ruling is out on MMSC then there should be no reason a final deal can be cut with AVZ. Anything around 80% AVZ and 20% DRC Gov would be a good outcome.

However the reverse may apply to AVZ after agreement struck with Gov, how much of the equity AVZ hold in Dathcom could be at risk from Zijin and Dathcom? One would think very small risk of loosing anything on the Zijin and Dathomir fronts, in fact there should be damages awarded to AVZ IMO, but we are not there yet.

Fox/anyone know when this decision on MMSC needs to be decided?

One has to wonder about the opportunity cost of letting this get dragged through the courts endlessly. We can assume that some entity, be that a competing mining company, or the DRC gov itself wants their hands on a bigger slice of this. Surely a serious investor would just launch a takeover offer, as opposed to risking a multiple year court case.

Agree with you on this - we are a very expensive pawn (in terms of opportunity cost) in in an election campaign, not only in direct votes for the big ticket effect of the ML but also in protecting the corrupt elements that attract votes. Could be a major shakeup if and when the government is voted in for another term.

US is increasing influence in DRC Battery Council. Better we don't piss off DRC Govt and officials. IMO. Br, Sparrowhawk.

Fact is a certain percentage of this sh1t cannot be stopped . Anti AVZers use SM as their weapon . It's up to the DRC gov to use some common sense . The only people they should be listening to is Nigel and his team . If it doesn't come from them then it should mean SFA . Fair enough genuine investors could be a little more mindful , but if the DRC gov are considering what is posted on social media by strangers/ impostors as part of their final decision making then it's not going to help us.

Fun fact people would stop talking shit about the DRC officials if they simply did their job and granted Dathcom its mining licence that passed all regulatory hurdles except the calculation of surface rights. It's been 2 fucking years since we applied. The mine could be operational by now if it had been expedited as promised.

I reckon this decision is critical for us . As far as i am aware we satisfied all conditions of PE and were at the point of being issued the licence subject to calculation of surface rights but there was one issue left unresolved that being the 10 % to be ceded to DRC . So now we have the whole of PR 13359 back with Dathcom and ready for conversion to PE but still with the 10 % issue
Currently : AVZ 60 % undisputed
AVZ 15% subject to dathomir claim
AVZ 15 % FROR subject to Zijin bullshit claim
MMCS 5% gifted via MoP and Com
Com 5%
So we have Com and MMCS being given 90 days by ICC to resolve the 5 % issue. Problem is they were in collusion together in the first place so fuck knows how this works out.
What the fuck was CCk Mop etc etc thinking when this deal was done ??? Absolute bunch of corrupt muppet fucksticks

If COMINIERE get this back, which IMO, they will, this will unlock the stalemate over issuance of the ML as there will be 10% to cede to the State
