Are these guys honestly retarded? They've kicked off that many roadshows with bloody councils, SEZ, battery hubs, etc, you flipping name it! Remember that shit show in December 2021? That turned into a bag of hot air.
Where THE FARK are you getting battery content from DRC? Out your arse? Coz unless your batteries run on methane you're dreaming.

If Felix is dead serious, his latest spat about advancing any project that creates jobs better have some substance behind it. They government should have enough paperwork about the project to sign it off in a matter of hours. They know they fucked up by allowing Com to sell their stake to Zijin, but obviously it's not a matter of just reversing the agreement coz Zijin want their loot and rightly so. (buy now pay later).

Anyone who has any form of confidence of shit being sorted in the coming weeks is dreaming. Then again, I've seen pigs fly and rabbits pulled out of hairy arse-holes, so surprise me biatches!!

Agreed. And imo I think the intel people are getting is just more of the same spin that Nigel/management have been saying for around two years. Imminent, 3 weeks "at the latest", etc. He's said this in interviews to german and north american investors before the shitshow (forget the names it's been so long), the proactive investor interviews (pre shitshow), over and over with the bigger shareholders, at roadshow last year, etc. I remember a while back Nigel even saying that the ML would be approved within the next 3 months, when at the time this was impossible as DRC mining code outlined that the process for the various approvals (which AVZ didn't have) takes longer than just 3 months. Many ASX companies in the battery space give ambitious timelines that are never met and is just part of the marketing of the company, so maybe it's just marketing,, or ignorance, or dishonesty, or a combination. idk.

I appreciate hearing anything that deBoss, the Fox and Nellie have to relay to other shareholders, but imo the source of their intel is management and it's just the same spin. It is not useful in any way to have a bunch of agitated shareholders in their ear while this shit's going on, so the message will always be something that calms the farm. And I don't blame management for this, I just don't think what people are being told about near term resolutions is accurate. It never has been! The evidence atm is we have 3 pending ICC cases, recent negotiations with Cominiere that Franck Fwamba was reporting on clearly went sour (hence ICC proceeding). DRC gov doesn't do shit for the last year despite strong evidence in AVZ's favour. Personally won't be surprised if we get to October and nothing's changed and were still being told 'very close' and 'a little more patience'.
Would love to be wrong but am growing weary of this and there's a clear pattern over the last year with the info we've gotten and the reality of what's played out.

Coming from a social media / tweet from Tina Salama , who is spokesperson for the head of state ; it would appear that MoPs actions are at least coagulating at the surface and becoming general knowledge to all walks ; hopefully the princes is beginning to be seen as the dog she is

Another tweet from Tina Salama ( below ) seems like Lukonde finally looks to have a ‘report by’ date handed to him …12th of May ; my understanding was that this report was to happen some time ago , but never eventuated ….

Will be interesting to see how Lukonde reports on the Congolese portfolio performance and if he provides MoP with a glowing performance despite things looking to be souring around her …. Lukonde will probably just act dumb as usual ; anyway a couple of tweets from Salama cover the weekend certainly gave me a bit of a Kool aid buzz ; but these extended timelines are pretty wearing … even the MMCS V Cominiere case is still down as pending …. Yet we’ve pasted 100 days …. Considering it’s supposed to be a 90 day period .. it’s hard to win against someone like cominiere who just seem to want to fuck it all up …. Sells their shares and then tells everyone on national Tv that they want to control the project and the finances … mental health or wha ?
