Hell, i would just prefer if the US bought AVZ ( RD )out ASAP..........fark ISCID!

That is my point. Why not take everything if they will ignore FINAL ICSID decision ? Why they would hope AVZ will go bust, if they will not respect final ICSID decision anyway ? Yes, they took part of ROCHE DURE, because they need a lake (water) and I believe they intend fully to prepare CDL to be ready for mining, roads and everything else by the time ICSID is about to deliver final order. Only then Zijin will pay us out, but they will have ROCHE DURE and CDL ready to be mined and start making billions immediately instead of paying us now and than build mine, roads etc.. which will take few years. I know lot's of us were millionaires when AVZ share price was over 1 dollar or even 0.78 cents, but don't let fear of losing that to blind you. I really like Carlos common sense and I would like to hear his opinion. Our only danger of getting nothing out of this is, if we lose company to Chinese shareholders, so having enough votes to beat them is everything that we need to focus on. One more observation, I believe that Zijin decided to go this path, because this was the best way for them to secure this monster and eliminate competition from USA,Australia etc..They will get it at the end, but they will pay. Corporate games and we average shareholders should be scared ? Not me !

Aside from that, personally i ask myself all the time, if we are truly fucked and our only hope is ICC / ISCID arbitration decisions which could take years to determine , then why hasnt DRC / COMINIERE given Zijin the green light to start construction on RD ?

For me, (and I have not heard from any contacts for fucking ages, and haven’t asked anyone for anything since the invitation to have a fireside chat with Nige) the most obvious way out of this shit is for AVZ to find a buyer for RD, acceptable to DRC, with them holding their 25%, yes, Cominiere keep the 15% ‘handed’ back by Z for their illegal swap into 15575, Z pays us a decent price for adjusted CDL, Cong might get a few extra pennies, the ML is irrevocably issued as part of the deal, court cases are dropped, the 30% tax for the asset sale is waived, and we all ride off into the fucking sunset with $3 per share

Looking at the map, I don't think that RD is included in the slice Zijin stole, but it looks like the border was redrawn to include Lake Likushi in its entirety.
To be able to process, I would think water is required.
So anybody trying to produce from RD is slightly snookered.

Management have been very clear in official announcements that they are willing to negotiate a compromise and Nigel even said in an interview if Felix is adamant that he wants Zijin to have the north it is something the bod are willing to sit down and talk about
My pessimism about timelines is only IF we need to go the distance
I just think we are better off hoping for the best but being mentally prepared for the worst case scenario of endless games like we have seen so far

But you mentioned few times in your previous posts that you think that DRC will ignore final ICSID decision. So which option is more logical to you ? That DRC and Zijin will use ROCHE DURE or CDL as bargaining chip to make a deal or DRC will completely ignore ICSID decision and not make a deal with AVZ, but then we are again coming to a question, why they didn't take everything by now ?

They don't take everything because they know they are in the wrong and acting against the law and the mining code.
Chinese are using delay tactics to steal the Hydro power, build infrastructure and develop CDL.
CDL probably has enough lithium to mine it for 50 years, not to mention control lithium pricing across the globe.
So they will delay AVZ and appeal the damages awards holding everything up for years as they take it.
If they have to pay eventually it won't even matter to them because they already got what they wanted, all from looting and pillaging. So paying a few billion will mean nothing especially since the DRC government will have to foot that bill anyway and all the corrupt fucking assholes who caused this will be living lives of luxury as far away from DRC as possible.

If so, bloody hard to cop hearing don't have boistrous hopium.... its much easier to say when you've only invested much smaller amount than plenty on here.
