AVZ Discussion 2022

Kobold been sniffing around long before Trump got into office .
KoBold submitted their offer to the DRC exactly one day after Trump's inauguration

The deposit “has the potential to become a large-scale, long-lived lithium mine,” KoBold Chief Legal Officer Sandy Alexander wrote in a letter to Congo President Felix Tshisekedi’s chief of staff on Jan. 21. The company “would welcome the opportunity to develop the asset,” he said.

DRC mining: President Félix Tshisekedi expected in Washington to finalize partnership with Trump administration

The Head of State Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo is expected to be in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, May 1, 2025, for the confirmation and finalisation of the RDC-USA partnership, after its validation by the Oval Office.

This is indicated in a statement issued by the US Department of State for African Affairs on Tuesday, April 29, which evokes a turning point in what it describes as an “agreement of the century.”

The partnership provides for the exploitation of mineral resources in the Democratic Republic of Congo in return for securing the east of the country, as well as a massive investment in infrastructure, estimated at nearly USD 500 billion over a 15-year period.

It's interesting . Would Kobold have made an offer if Harris had won ?

Not a fucking chance.

Absolutely.
Those thieving troglodytes deserve every bit of vitriol and every insult we can throw at them, and then a bit more just to be safe.

The thing is, these people are have dark triad, psychopathic minds, they don't care what you think of them, they don't even care what their constituents think of them beyond how they can benefit them.

The question is then, what is there to gain from insulting or berating them? The answer is none, outside of making you feel better, there is nothing to be gained. You aren't going to make them change their ways, or the imbedded culture of corruption that enables them. Unless you have leverage over them such as the US and ISCID you are wasting your time.

Just save your energy in my opinion.

I think Jens is a bit of a blowhard and wanna-be spokesperson for AVZ shareholders which can leave a bad taste in my mouth with how he tries to tell other shareholders how they should feel/act.

Having said that, I do have respect for the often telegraphed and considered takes August has given his background and connections so willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

Aug/Sept ? ICSID in full swing ? Delayed?
Hey mate attached is a vid explaining the process. So hopefully 2 months and peace accord plus bilateral economic agreements (minerals deal) are finalised. This then opens the door for Kobold, Rio et al to proceed ( 1 or 2 months to do the deal ? ) which puts us in Aug/Sept.
The ICSID continues irrespective of the above and certainally adds some big heat to the fire
My birthday is 30 September so fingers crossed for a massive birthday present
