If we are waiting for Rwanda to get their sh1t together , I don't see why Nigel would pull the ICSID trigger . AVZ beef is with the DRC .Can only trigger ICSID if the DRC won't play ball.

Exactly ICSID was always about PR13359 and the appropriate mining licence to be awarded to Dathcom.
Not rocket science if the DRC want to avoid the courts .
Simply award the ML and sign minerals for security with USA .
IMO It is not dependant on Rwanda peace deal,
Security already in place with signing of Blackwater.

An investment deal with the US and separate peace deal with Rwanda were possible “by the end of June”, the newspaper said, citing two people close to the negotiations. But potential stumbling blocks remain substantial, the FT said.

But yes hopefully an undertstanding about the legal rights to Manono and the pending ICSID that wraps into the appropriate compensation to LT genuine AVZ shareholders is on the cards if a fair deal is on the table

Not that I want to contradict you, but this statement should at least come from the DRC, ICSID and/or AVZ/Dathcom and not from someone who, as of today, has absolutely no involvement in this issue.

That's true . It has only come from the media at this point . Still I'd be surprised if Felix's Overlords were made to hand the North back . Compensation $$$ maybe . Is AVZ getting Roche Dure or $$$$ ?

As far as we as SH know and are informed by the company, the DRC has zero intention to compensate AVZ for anything Manono, north or south.
The DRC has agreed with AVZ to put the ICSID proceedings on halt til 23/6/25.
The DRC is fully aware of that date, so is Kobold.
If Kobold can get away not compensating AVZ for anything, they will as far as I am concerned.
Therefore AVZ should push ahead with the ICSID proceedings after 23/6/25 without delay.

The Loophole for the DRC is for Kobold to payout AVZ (appropriately Compensate ) and AVZ to drop legal proceedings . If any compensation comes from the North it will come from Zijin not the DRC . Kobold cannot get their hands on Roche Dure if AVZ are taking the DRC to the ICSID .If after many months the DRC are found guilty of screwing over AVZ ,then Kobold will either have to compensate AVZ or f--k off . Kobold already know this and have signed an MOU with AVZ .So come the 23rd we will either have a result or a suspension extension . IMO
