Haha, Felix-the-corrupt attending a humanitarian conference with his arch-enemy, Rwanda's president Paul Kagame.

I'm glad it's after the signing of the peace accord, because it could get interesting once they've had a few.

Why does Macron need to get involved?
Best that he stays out of the DRC issues as from what I have seen lately, he is incompetent.

Just a few posts by people who Zeeb0t has banned and/or contributors working on tidying up their own posts. All under control, as there is no reporting functionality currently

Here’s the full details of the Peace Agreement posted on the US governments website 27/6/25 (if you see “technical difficulties” the link still works)

I suspect that the DRC president went to China to seek help against the rebels couple of years ago, and he sold us out to the Chinese. But once the Chinese got what the wanted they did not help solving the rebels problem, so he had to run to the Americans. We were fk by the Chinese, now are we fk by the Americans? We are no longer allies, we are just friends with benefits?

Nations don't have friends. They have Interests.

AU refers to the African Union, AFAIK
Well it sure as shit isn't referring to the Australian Government they have done absolutely fuck all for us and don't enter into the equation ... except to pillage us on an unfavorable taxation ruling if we ever do get a decent settlement.

Nations don't have friends.
They are forged in times of war not peace. ANZAC, Fuzzy Wuzzies, etc... nothing like a common enemy to bring friends together.

Nice find @cruiser51 ....great article, everybody should read that
Resource governance scholars have observed that "license revocations increased 300% since the 2020 cobalt boom," suggesting a pattern of state intervention that correlates with rising commodity prices. The DRC Mining Code's Article 71 grants the state broad powers for license revocation, creating inherent uncertainty for international investors.

I wish i knew that stat before we entered suspension !

Bunch of caaaarnts !

Bottom Line . Will DRC do a deal with Kobold for Roche Dure ?

If the DRC say they hold the legal rights to Manono , what's stopping them from doing a deal with Kobold ?
If the DRC say AVZ do not hold any rights to Manono , what's stopping the DRC doing a deal with Kobold ?
If Kobold know AVZ can lock them out of a deal with the DRC for Roche Dure by taking the DRC to court , what's stopping Kobold from doing a deal with AVZ ?
If AVZ gets paid out by Kobold for a deal done between Kobold and the DRC , what does that have to do with the DRC?

Is this a deal between Kobold and AVZ ? Is it just a case of Kobold offering AVZ the right compensation $$$ for AVZ to drop ICSID/ICC/walk away and allow the DRC and Kobold to do a deal ? ( after peace /security agreement ).

I can’t work out how the population tolerate this, they should eradicate the scum responsible for their poverty.
Unfortunately , due to poverty, the locals are probably not educated, therefore cant read, cant afford /read the internet which is more than likely filled with propoganda in any case.

Not that they get a choice to vote for their preferred president , cause the electoral process is all rigged just like the recent re -election of FT.

The locals are fucked royally

Who the hell knows whats going on except the DRC is corrupt to the core and China being the ultimate corruptors have them by the nuts.

So much for the DRC squealing to the US for protection from the rebels in lieu of minerals, then snub AVZ bod in the good will gesture period.

Pure scum .
