Placing a heavy object on your nubuck seats !!??
I do place a heavy weight on my car seat, but it is widely distributed and well padded.

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
It seems the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) is so shockingly underequipped these days that they are now even resorting to confiscating the letter Y in the word “Germany“ from random websites for reuse on their vehicles’ licence plates… 😱
They were allotted that leftover letter back in 1955, as no German city or county starts with Y (except a Black Forest village named Yach, which is way too small, though, to have its own licence plate letter combination) and the obvious BW was already taken by the “Bundes-Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsverwaltung“.
(I kid you not! This tongue twister and spelling monster terrifying learners of German translates as “Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration“, in the unlikely case you wanted to know.)

Specially for you, @Bravo, here is a picture of a feline Bundeswehr pet called Puma, which means “cougar” in English (and has no negative double entendre in German).
Yup, that’s exactly why the sportswear company of the same name has one of those mountain lions as their logo. And lest anyone should accuse me of camouflaged advertising, I’ll also quickly mention its biggest domestic rival, Adidas, which - believe it or not - is headquartered in the same Bavarian town named Herzogenaurach (near Nürnberg/Nuremberg actually)! The reason being, the companies’ founders were brothers - their lifelong feud is quite an interesting story that has also been made into a movie.

Little did the Dassler brothers know that one day their businesses would be eclipsed by an American company named after the Greek goddess Nike, the personification of victory. Doesn’t that strikingly resemble the story of two American tech giant rivals that each had developed a neuromorphic research chip, until a third company with a Greek chip name comes seemingly out of nowhere, joins the race with a commercial (!) chip in hand as their baton, swooshes past them, takes the lead and succeeds in maintaining it?! Awesome story, I hear you say? Well, let‘s better not take this analogy too far, though, as it doesn‘t bode well for Brainchip once we’ll find out that in Greek mythology the goddess Nike was a frequent attendant (or sometimes even considered just an attribute) of … Athena! 😂
To calm our nerves, I’d suggest a rooting-for-the-underdog story of disruptive innovation instead: the biblical tale of David and Goliath, in which coincidentally a humble slingshot plays an important role…

That was the most informative and wide ranging response @Frangipani. I was so not expecting that. Ten out of ten from me!🏅

But I don’t think BrainChip can blame a spelling mistake on the confiscation of the letter “y” from the German Armed Forces, although I imagine someone in the proof-reading department wishes this could be the case.

Who is Markus May? please.
He's a human like you and me, apparently just another human interested in neuromorphic chips. So not more important, like you and me!

What I don’t understand is why Mercedes wants you to be able to take selfies when you‘re in the car. I mean, this is what I look like when I’m driving and I don’t really want to inflict that upon anyone else.

To think that we are only dealing with Mercedes Benz, would be a grave mistake.

Our technology has a great reach, no one company will have exclusive use of our IP, that point is beyond obvious.

No automobile manufacturer wishes to be left in Mercedes rearview mirror, this market is a lot bigger than just Mercedes Benz.

Expand your research horizons, we are/have been engaging with automobile manufacturers, yes plural, if Mercedes is having trouble
spitting out the words Akida or Brainchip, some other company will...this space is very active and fast moving.

My opinion only, yes that's right, my opinion only, thank you.

Tech ;)
Who are you Tech, and why aren't you more forthcoming? You show up from time to time and leave good vibrations, but your ambiguity and "opinions only" spiel has me, for one, vexed and befuddled.

You have dropped hints that you are connected to those in the high places and I wonder why you are not more communicative or able to call a shovel a shovel, when I know you know ?

"Expand YOUR research horizons..... ???? C'mon, Tech,.........just spill what you know and then couch it with "...my opinion only".

Or do you fear you will be cutoff from the grapevine for leaking blatent beans?

If you are the C suite whisperer can you speak more clearly to us?

Having a low tolerance for ambiguity and not savy enough to expand my research horizons, I remain sincerely yours, .....dippY

If you think about a sky full of personal flying transporters, they will need a flock control and communication system like the "loyal wingman" programme Boeing developed in Australia. 100 kph is about 1 mile a minute (1600 m), so two approaching in opposite directions have a closing speed of 200 kph (2 miles per minute) = 54 m/s. If top speed is 200kph, that's 100 m/s closing speed. Then there's limited visibility above, below, behind, so there's an imperative for autonomous all round detectors and the processing capacity to handle this without draining the battery of electric VTOL planes.

I did a quick Google search.

While it would of course be awesome if Airbus Urban Mobility’s Dr. Markus May was enthusiastic about neuromorphic chips, I doubt it is the same person as the ardent Brainchip supporter (possibly even one of the forum posters here who understandably wants to remain incognito?) that goes by the twitter handle @CustomKnives2, as according to his website, he is 38 years old and lives more than 300 km north of Munich.

I would suspect he is just a retail shareholder like the rest of us.

Congrates to those who posted today that they had bought more!!!! (y)
Like @Boab you need "BALLS OF STEEL " to go the distance, ................... and like many have stated, BRN are in a "way better position "than they have ever been!!!

Just a random thought, and something ive not seen mentioned here, ...................... IMO its quiet possible that along with the shorting campain, bot trading etc, ...................... that LDA with their newly acquired 20 odd million shares have lent/used them to destruct the s/p down from their $0.58 to where we were around lunch today only to accumulate plenty more.

Dissapointed at @wilzy123 for no green baby rocket today ...........................:)

AKIDA ( Balls of Steel ) BALLISATA
This morning’s ‘capitulation’ felt like a very deliberate tree shake for weak hands - shares were hoovered up pretty quickly this arvo.

Incidentally, from a Continental European or American perspective, you are indeed placing it on the front passenger seat, then. 😉

BURLINGTON, Mass. Radar and AI sensing company launched MatrixSpace Radar, the first in a series of AI sensing products aimed at enabling cost-effective, long-distance sensing, tracking, monitoring, and inspection solutions.

According to the company's announcement, MatrixSpace Radar combines sensing, real-time AI edge processing, and RF communication in a package the size of a cellphone to equip large-scale use cases, such as semi-autonomous mobile platforms, general aviation, and portable or fixed systems. Digitizing the outdoors is the ability to measure the size, location, and movement of objects in time, shifting reliance from human sensing to a far more detailed recognition of objects and their movements.

Greg Waters, cofounder and CEO of MatrixSpace, says of the product introduction: “We’re bringing high-performance radar and AI sensing products to mainstream industries that have never even considered their use. Our radar architecture represents a completely different way for customers across a variety of industries to digitize the outdoors, then using AI to inform them of exactly what’s out there. It’s a radically new level of situational awareness.”
