Thanks Diogenese.
RainAI has attracted some top quality people such as Jean-Didier Allegrucci, who worked on Apple's s SoCs for over 17 years. And also former Meta architecture leader Amin Firoozshahian. And both of these appointments have been within the last 12 months.
I'll admit, I find it a bit of a pity that our technologies seem to be incompatible as they seem like they're shaping up to be a formidable competitor in our midst if I'm not mistaken.
Or maybe not, but the first thing that struck me quite a while ago was that Altman went with Rain AI when they were spruiking "NEUROMORPHIC" capabilities. And now they aren't or can't spruik it any longer because they didn't find the right path there.
The question is, Altman (OpenAI) and Masayoshi Son (SoftBank) need to find the company with the best technology to make their goals come to fruition but is that company going to be Rain AI?
I mean, it's probably silly to ask that I suppose. But we are still in the "neuromorphic" business and Rain AI aren't, so that must be worth something...
Random thought bubbles...
I have previously raised the possibility #91,927 of our technology being integrated with Rain AI's technology.
What I think is interesting about todays announcement is how this might increase the chances BrainChip and Rain AI coming together in one integrated solution via Andes.
If you look at the BrainChip announcement it describes AKD1500 integrated with Andes AX45MP.
Rain AI has licensed Andes' AX45MPV RISC-V vector processor to accelerate its compute-in-memory (CIM) generative AI solutions, to enhance the performance and efficiency of Rain AI's edge AI applications.

Since BrainChip integration is with the Andes AX45MP, not the AX45MPV, I asked ChatGPT what the difference was and whether or not integration with AX45MP might suggests integration with AX45MPV is technically feasible.
ChatGPT's suggested that both cores share a common base architecture — the AX45MPV is essentially a superset of the AX45MP, with vector extensions (RVV 1.0) layered on top. So, if BrainChip's Akida NPU has been successfully integrated with the AX45MP, extending that to the AX45MPV would not be starting from scratch.
If Akida connects via standard interfaces (e.g., AXI, TileLink, AHB), then porting the integration to AX45MPV is a matter of software stack extension and minor hardware interface tuning, not a re-architecture.
Rain AI are expecting to unveil an accelerator solution some time in 2025.
When I asked ChatGPT if it would it make sense for Andes to bring Rain AI and BrainChip together in one integrated solution, this was the repose I received (see below).
BTW, our Chairman Mr Antonio Viana is also currently serving on the Board of Directors at Arteris. Arteris and Rain AI are collaborating to develop advanced hardware solutions aimed at enhancing artificial intelligence computing.

The above integration does at first look like good news, but it’s just like every other AGM,small leak of information last minute attempt from management to divert angry shareholders which we will hear fuck all about for the next 5 years. Where is the ASX Announcement , where is the forward sales and profit projections. For fuck sake, this is why management have to go they do it every year, don’t fall for their trick, rip them a new armhole at the AGM.

Hi Galaxy
Is that what you are going to do this AGM?
Rip into them?
I have been hearing this sort of pitchfork and bluster talk for the last few years from various keyboard warriors from both here and over at the crapper.
So far, have seen two people actually call out the board when given the opportunity.
One, younger bloke, self described business owner, had a go regarding their strategy 2 or 3 years ago and our own Realinfo who periodically calls them out regarding their sense of entitlement, basically the remuneration they pay themselves which he argues is excessive.
Mainly though, not a squeak when it actually counts.
Seems like the vociferous group of naysayer's, particularly from the crapperino where they hold sway, are very shy in public.
Wonder why that is?![]()

Some big buys just now........BOOOOM

How can you say shorts, the shorts have been falling for the last 10days now 3.2%, it’s just people sellin to get out before the after AGM drop on nothing substantial to say again but excusesDon’t worry I will still be here reading the fluffy clubs posts after the AGM When the price is $0.18, just to give you’s another stir especially around three months after the AGM when all we will here from management is nothin, after they promise you all a deal is IMMINENT again we are oh so close, really do love how blind you’s really are, like a bunch of Jehovah’s the lot of you. The directors keep on gettin voted back in because suckers on here keep believing their bullshit
