Fair enough.
I see it a little differently due to the commercially actionable hardware integration.
Unless I'm mistaken, this integration reflects a shift from theoretical validation to practical deployment.
Unlike previous partnerships that were largely research-focused or lacked tangible outputs, Andes is offering an end-to-end product ecosystem, complete with developer tools and real-world demonstrations that enables OEMs, edge device makers, and SoC integrators to build next-generation AI solutions powered by Akida.
It's hardware-ready because of the concrete integration of Akida AKD1500 NPU with Andes’ QiLai SoC and Voyager development board.

I’ve been diving into the topic of Edge Data Centers lately, and it’s really interesting to see how this concept is evolving with the growth of 5G, IoT, and AI applications.
For those not too familiar, Edge Data Centers are basically smaller facilities located closer to the data source or end user. The goal is to reduce latency and improve performance by processing data locally, rather than relying on a central, often far-off, data center. This is especially useful for real-time services like video streaming, autonomous vehicles, smart manufacturing, and remote healthcare.
One thing I’ve noticed is how some providers are building out edge infrastructure that works in tandem with their larger core or hyperscale data centers. Sify Technologies, for example, has been doing some interesting work in this area across India. They've been gradually expanding their footprint with a network of edge facilities while also integrating them with their cloud and network services. It’s not just about decentralizing, but also ensuring smooth connectivity between edge and core.
This hybrid model seems to offer a good balance — you get the speed and responsiveness of edge computing, along with the scalability and storage benefits of centralized systems.
Curious to know if anyone here has experience working with or deploying edge solutions. Are you seeing a shift toward decentralization in your own IT strategy? How are you balancing performance, cost, and complexity?

Can't find the owner on google as yet but appears the project could be linked to a Turkish Uni possibly.
Regreyson is Turkish for regression (model or formula) from what I can see.

I just got a warning from Dreddb0t because I replied to 7fur7's EXTREMELY WEIRD post which showed a hand slapping a woman's butt, with this gif below.
So, this little girl's weirded-out look is more offensive than someone randomly replying to a serious post of mine with a slapping butt gif?
I note that my gif of the little girl has been removed but 7fur7's "slapped butt" gif still remains.
